Pontimicrobium is a Gram-negative, strictly aerobic, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped and non-motile genus of bacteria from the family of Flavobacteriaceae with one known species ( Pontimicrobium aquaticum ). [1] [2] Pontimicrobium aquaticum has been isolated from seawater. [2]
