Camp Tosebo, on the south shore of Portage Lake in Onekama Township, Michigan, was established in 1912 by Noble Hill, the headmaster of the Todd Seminary for Boys in Woodstock, Illinois, as one of the first summer camps in the United States. The name of the camp is an acronym derived from the school's name, TOdd SEminary for BOys, and meant to sound like a Native American Indian word. The camp was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.
Cannondale Historic District is a historic district in the Cannondale section in the north-central area of the town of Wilton, Connecticut. The district includes 58 contributing buildings, one other contributing structure, one contributing site, and 3 contributing objects, over a 202 acres (82 ha). About half of the buildings are along Danbury Road and most of the rest are close to the Cannondale train station .The district is significant because it embodies the distinctive architectural and cultural-landscape characteristics of a small commercial center as well as an agricultural community from the early national period through the early 20th century....The historic uses of the properties in the district include virtually the full array of human activity in this region—farming, residential, religious, educational, community groups, small-scale manufacturing, transportation, and even government. The close physical relationship among all these uses, as well as the informal character of the commercial enterprises before the rise of more aggressive techniques to attract consumers, capture some of the texture of life as lived by prior generations.The district is also significant for its collection of architecture and for its historic significance.
Portage Point is an unincorporated summer resort area of Onekama Township, Manistee County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It includes the site of the first town on Portage Lake at 44°21′43″N86°15′42″W It is located on the narrow strip of land between Portage Lake and Lake Michigan developed by the Portage Point Association. A post office operated in summers from August 1917 until September 1921.

The Wianno Historic District is a historic district in the Osterville section of Barnstable, Massachusetts. It encompasses a well-preserved summer resort area for the wealthy that was first developed in the late 19th century, focused around the Wianno Club, built in 1881 on the site of an earlier resort hotel. The 40-acre (16 ha) district has a significant number of well-preserved Shingle style and Colonial Revival houses. Architect Horace Frazer designed the Wianno Club, as well as a number of the private residences in the district. The district is roughly bounded by East Bay Road, Wianno and Sea View Avenues between Nantucket Sound and Crystal Lake. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The Sunset Beach Hotel, also referred to as Peters' Sunset Beach Resort, is a historic resort hotel in Glenwood Township, Pope County, Minnesota, 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Glenwood, United States. Situated on the southern shore of Lake Minnewaska, three structures of the private, commercial resort were placed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) on February 11, 1982. The complex is notable because it stands as one of the best-preserved early resorts in west central Minnesota, and as a center of seasonal resort activity on the lake since the second decade of the twentieth century.
The Austin H. and Frankie A. Dwight Summer House, also known as the Bay Pointe Restaurant, was a building constructed as a private summer home, located on Gun Lake at 11456 Marsh Road in Shelbyville, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1982 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. The building was later used as a restaurant, and was demolished in 2004.

The Kineo Cottage Row Historic District encompasses a collection of seven summer resort cottages on the Mount Kineo peninsula, which juts into Moosehead Lake in the central Maine. The cottages were built between 1900 and 1912 as part of the Mount Kineo resort complex, one of interior Maine's most successful summer resorts of the early 20th century, and are its only major surviving component. The cottages were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
The Lucerne Inn is a historic hotel and restaurant at 2517 Main Road in Dedham, Maine. Its main house built in 1818 and repeatedly enlarged and renovated, the Lucerne Inn has served travelers for nearly 200 years. In the 1920s it was the centerpiece of an ultimately unsuccessful effort to develop a resort catering to the wealthy on nearby Phillips Lake. The inn was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.
