Power Cut is a 2012 Indian Punjabi romantic comedy film. It was the last film directed by Jaspal Bhatti and produced by Paveljeet Singh under P & R Films and Mad Arts, Jaspal Bhatti Film School. [1] [2] The lead actors include Jaspal Bhatti himself, his wife Savita Bhatti and several well-known Punjabi actors. [3] The film was released on 26 October 2012 worldwide. The movie mocks the power outages and corruption in India, especially in the state of Punjab.

Flop Show is an Indian television sitcom that first aired on DD National in 1989. The show was written and directed by satirical humorist Jaspal Bhatti, who also played himself as the main character. His wife Savita Bhatti produced the show and also acted in all the episodes as his wife. The sitcom was a satire on the socio-cultural problems faced by a common Indian at the time. Only 10 episodes of the show were produced.

Gadar: Ek Prem Katha is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language romantic period action drama film directed by Anil Sharma from a story written by Shaktiman Talwar and was set during the Partition of India in 1947. Loosely based on the life of Boota Singh, the film stars Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in lead roles alongside Amrish Puri, Lillete Dubey and Vivek Shauq. Sharma's son Utkarsh as a child artist plays Deol and Patel's son. Patel bagged Sakeena's role out of 500 girls who auditioned for the role.

Mahaul Theek Hai is a 1999 Indian Punjabi language comedy film directed by Jaspal Bhatti. The film is satire on police departments of Punjab and their functioning.

The Golden Kela Awards are a satirical take on Bollywood that award the worst performances in Hindi cinema each year. Created by Random Magazine, winners are selected each year by an online poll and receive an award in the shape of a golden banana. The first award ceremony took place on 7 March 2009 in New Delhi (India). The fifth award ceremony was held on 30 March 2013. Jaspal Bhatti made a special appearance at the inaugural event, dishonoring the Indian film talent of the year 2008. The intention behind the Golden Kela is to ridicule the Hindi film stars and acknowledge the worst of Indian Cinema. Since, several award ceremonies each year celebrate the best of Hindi Cinema, Random Magazine and the Sundaas Film Institute chose to be different by giving away the Best of the Worst of Indian Cinema. Golden Kela Awards are not meant to insult anyone. It is just a way to make it a laughter exercise, a therapy of sorts to forget about the failures and look at what went wrong with the movie and the act. Abhishek Bachchan came to the Golden Kela Awards in 2010 and accepted the Dara Singh Award for his attempt to speak with an American accent in Delhi 6

He died of a heart attack on 10 January 2011 in Mumbai, at the age of 47.

Thank You Jijaji is a Hindi language Indian comedy series which premiered on 3 August 2009 on SAB TV. The series was produced by Jaspal Bhatti, and starred Jaspal Bhatti and Savita Bhatti.

Surilie Gautam Bhatti is an Indian film and television actress. She is the daughter of director Mukesh Gautam and younger sister of actress Yami Gautam. She made her television debut in 2008 with Meet Mila De Rabba. Later she started her film career with Punjabi film Power Cut.
