Pradip Chatterjee (b. 15 December 1950) is a founder member of the Bengali band Moheener Ghoraguli. He is the younger brother of Gautam Chatterjee. [1] He was also a theatre person, filmmaker and ethnographer. [2]
Also known as Bula, Chatterjee is a flautist and vocalist.
An engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, which was then affiliated with the University of Calcutta, he joined the Calcutta engineering firm M.N. Dastur & Company (P) Ltd, after the break-up of Moheener Ghoraguli. [3]
He resides in Kolkata, with his wife Sharmistha, daughter Anka and son Ritoban.

Gautam Chattopadhyay was an Indian Bengali singer, songwriter, bassist, and composer. In 1975, as a leader he founded the progressive rock band Moheener Ghoraguli with Tapas Das, Abraham Mazumdar, Pradip Chatterjee, Ranjon Ghoshal, Biswanath Bishu Chattopadhyay Tapesh Bandopadhyay. The band at the time consisted of Gautam Chattopadhyay, Biswanath Chattopadhyay, Pradip Chatterjee, Ranjon Ghoshal, Abraham Mazumdar, Tapas Das, Tapesh Bandopadhyay. Gautam also served as the band's primary songwriter, though he contributed only one track on the album credited to the band collectively and other tracks were written by Ranjon, Tapas and Tapesh.

It was released in 1995 by Asha Audio at Kolkata. This album is not an original Moheen album, like their earlier releases. It was released nearly twenty years after the last album in 1979.

Written by Ranjon Ghoshal, composed by Gautam Chattopadhyay, and sung by Tapesh Bandyopadhyay, Tapas Das and Ranjon. The lyrics is a call to the people of the city, while bass guitar carry the music. It was one of the band's initial songs such as "Haay, Bhalobasi" and "Bheshe Ashey Kolkata".
