Predator vs. Black Panther is an American comic book limited series written by Ben Percy and published by Marvel Comics. A crossover between the Predator franchise and the Marvel Universe, the series follows Black Panther as he faces off against two rival Yautja princes seeking vibranium. [1] [2]
Receiving a universally positive critical reception, the series was republished as a graphic novel in April 2025, [3] [4] and was followed by Predator vs. Spider-Man , and Predator Kills the Marvel Universe (both 2025), both again written by Ben Percy, the latter a direct continuation of Predator vs. Black Panther.
In July 2020, Marvel Comics was announced to be developing a new line of Predator comic books to release in 2021, [5] with a "First Look" by David Finch featuring a Yautja (Predator) standing atop the Fantastic Four's Baxter Building, who stated that "I cannot wait to see the [Predator] wreaking havoc in the Marvel Universe". [6] [7] In May 2022, a series of variant covers depicting Marvel characters encountering Yautja were published, including two featuring a Yautja and Black Panther. [8] In June 2023, Predator vs. Black Panther was announced, written by Ben Percy, who previously wrote Predator vs. Wolverine . [9]
The four-issue series was published from August 21 to November 20, 2024. [10]
