Prejish Prakash is an Indian film editor working primarily in Malayalam cinema. He is also a web designer and an entrepreneur. Other than feature-film editing he edited various documentaries, advertisements, Corporate videos, Film trailers etc. in his career. [1]
He did his schooling from Mount Bethany EHSS, [2] and graduate with a degree in Multimedia from St Joseph College of Communication in 2007. [3]
He began his editing career by joining Yes Indiavision Satellite Communications as a video editor in 2008. [4] His passion for movies and film editing lead him to step into the film industry. He worked as an associate editor with the editors V. T. Sreejith and Arun Kumar Aravind in various movies.
Prejish started working as an independent film editor in the film Mullassery Madhavan Kutty Nemom P. O. in 2012.
In 2013, Prejish edited the movie Philips and the Monkey Pen which completed 111 days in theatres and was a huge commercial success at the boxoffice. [5] This film also won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Children's Film, Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist [6] and Kerala State Film Award for Best Children's Film Director.
He is the founder of the firm Peppino Studios and School of Editing which started in 2015. Peppino is a creative studio offers services in the field of editing and web design where the School of Editing offers Digital Film and Video Editing courses in Kochi. [7]

He edited the documentary "After Life" directed by Sanjeev Sivan, which was based on a real-life incident of a couple of Kerala fighting a legal battle to get access to their dead son's semen in hopes of producing an heir. [10]
"Water Whatever" is another Documentary Film edited by Prejish[ citation needed ] which has become an official selection of the Stockholm Project Green festival is one of only seven films selected worldwide by festival co-hosts Nomad Films (US) and Sweden's GAP (Global Action Plan) The 35mm film recounts 3 stories based on a single theme, water scarcity. Directed by Sudip Joshiy, Shot in Ladakh, Rajasthan and Kerala by renowned cinematographer Amal Neerad [11]

Nambiathusseril Varkey John, better known by his screen name Sasikumar, was an Indian film director who worked in Malayalam cinema. He has directed more than 141 films in his career which began in the mid-1960s. He is often referred to as Hitmaker Sasikumar due to the commercial success of his films. Thazhathupurakkal Karunakara Panicker Rajeev Kumar is a National Award-winning Indian director of Malayalam films, from Trivandrum. He is the winner of five Kerala State Film Awards for Best Film, Director, Story Writer & Script Writer, a show director, theatre actor and percussionist (Mridangam). He is a founding member and leader of the musical band Blue Birds in 1980 and Super Mimics, a comedy show in 1979. Cheeram Veetti Sathyan, popularly known as Odessa Sathyan was an Indian documentary filmmaker and social activist, known for his involvement in the naxal movements of the seventies in Kerala and his association with Odessa Collective, a people's film movement which was founded by the noted Malayalam filmmaker, John Abraham. He received the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi award, for his musical documentary Balikurup, a film on Malayalam poet, A. Ayyappan.
M. S. Mani (1926–2008) was an Indian film director and film editor of Malayalam movies. He won National award twice in 1990 and 1992 for editing the films Nakhashatangal and Iyyer The Great and Kerala State Award in 1972 for editing. He joined the film industry in 1948 and his first film was Ashaadeepam. He has edited more than 300 movies. Vijay Babu is an Indian film producer, actor, and businessman, who works in the Malayalam film industry. He is the founder of the film production company Friday Film House.
Friday Film House is an Indian film production company based in Malayalam film industry owned by Vijay Babu who is an actor as well as a producer and is one of the most talked about production houses in the south.
