Prelude is the third Korean extended play by South Korean girl group April. It was released on January 4,2017 by DSP Media and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. It marks the group's first comeback as a six member-group with the addition of Chaekyung and Rachel.
On December 20,2016,DSP Media confirmed that April would release their third extended play,Prelude on January 4,2017. [1] [2] The title of the album Prelude represent the group's new beginning,with their new line-up consisting of members Chaekyung,Chaewon,Naeun,Yena,Rachel and Jinsol. [3] [4] The next day,the album's tracklist was released,revealing that the album will includes 9 tracks with 5 new songs,a re-recorded version of 3 of their previous tracks:"Dream Candy","Muah!" and "Snowman",and an instrumental version of the title track. On December 27,they revealed two concept images. On December 28,April released a teaser with member Rachel for showing the choreography key point dance moves and also revealed that the title track of the album,"April Story". [7] [8]
On December 30,their music video making teasers for Jinsol,Chaekyung and Rachel were revealed, [9] followed by Naeun,Chaewon and Yena's on December 31. [10] [11] [12] On January 1,2017,the highlight medley of the five new songs from the mini-album was released. [13]
From January 1 to January 3,Chaekyung,Chaewon,Naeun,Yena,Rachel and Jinsol held a series of live appearances on their V Live channel. On January 3,the music video for "April Story" was released on the group's YouTube channel. [14]
On January 4,the group also held a live aired comeback showcase for Prelude,on V Live. On January 6,April had their comeback stage on KBS's Music Bank that were eventually followed by appearances on Mnet's M Countdown ,MBC's Show! Music Core and SBS's Inkigayo .[ citation needed ]
On January 19,the Special choreography MV of "April Story" was released. [15]
On February 14,2017,Chaekyung,Chaewon,Naeun,Yena,Rachel and Jinsol performed a special stage of Apink's "LUV" for the 100th episode of SBS MTV The Show . [16] Starting from February 16,the group performed,on Mnet's,M! Countdown,a series of special stages of "WOW" a song also figuring on the Prelude album.

Brown Eyed Girls is a South Korean girl group. The group is composed of four members: JeA, Miryo, Narsha, and Gain. They debuted as an R&B/ballad vocal group with "Come Closer (다가와서)" in 2006 through the release of their debut album Your Story.
So Girls is the second EP by the South Korean girl group Rainbow. It was released in South Korea on April 8, 2011 with "To Me" as the title track. A repackaged version of the EP was released on June 22, 2011 with the song "Sweet Dream" as the title track.

Pink Blossom is the fourth EP by South Korean girl group Apink, released on March 31, 2014. Group leader, Chorong, wrote two songs for the album. The music video for title track "Mr. Chu", composed by Duble Sidekick, was released on March 31 along with the album. The song peaked at number 2 on Billboard's K-Pop Hot 100. Apink won six music show trophies for "Mr. Chu" and the song was the eighth best selling digital song in 2014, according to Gaon's year-end chart. They released the music video for "Crystal" on June 14. Pink Blossom was the second best selling album of the week of its release on the Gaon Weekly chart and charted at #31 on the 2014 Gaon Annual Album chart with 66,139 copies sold, becoming the fourth best selling girl group album of the year.
April (Korean: 에이프릴) was a South Korean girl group formed by DSP Media. The group debuted on August 24, 2015, with their EP Dreaming and its title track "Dream Candy". The group's final lineup was composed of six members: Chaekyung, Chaewon, Naeun, Yena, Rachel and Jinsol. The group officially disbanded on January 28, 2022.

Yoon Chae-kyung, is a South Korean singer and actress. Yoon began her career with debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP in Japan during 2012 and the group later disbanded in January 2014. Following the disbandment, Yoon appeared as a contestant in the 2014 Kara's reality show for searching a new member Kara Project. She also appeared in the reality show Produce 101 and later in the mockumentary series The God of Music 2 which she became a member of project group C.I.V.A and also joined the fan-made group of Produce 101, I.B.I both respectively in 2016. Yoon later was added as a member of the DSP girl group April in 2017 and participated in group activities until their disbandment in 2022.

Lee Na-eun, also known mononymously as Naeun, is a South Korean actress under Namoo Actors. She is a former member of the South Korean girl group April, formed by DSP Media in 2015. She is best known for her roles in television series A-Teen (2018), A-Teen 2 (2019) and Extraordinary You (2019).
Da Capo is the seventh and final extended play by South Korean girl group April and their first one since 2018's The Ruby. It was released on April 22, 2020, by DSP Media and distributed by Kakao M. The EP features six tracks, including the lead single "Lalalilala" and the previously released CD-only track "Matter of Time", which is a duet between members Naeun and Jinsol. The physical album is available in two versions: "Glitter" and "Suit", making it the group's first release with more than one version. The EP marks the group's second to last release prior to their disbandment on January 28, 2022.
