Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) is a private Christian School that serves more than 1,600 students enrolled at three campuses: PCA Plano in Plano (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 12th grade), PCA North in Prosper (Pre-Kindergarten 3 through 12th grade), and the PCA Online virtual academy.

It is affiliated with Prestonwood Baptist Church [2] and is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International. In addition to a spiritual development plan, the school implements a liberal arts academic program.

PCA is both the name of the main campuses and the overall school system which it operates. In addition to PCA Plano, PCA North, and PCAplus, the system also includes St. Timothy Christian Academy, a K-12 school for students with learning challenges (St. Timothy is located at the Plano campus), [3]

Athletics

Prestonwood Christian Academy competes in the 6A classification (in football, 11-Man Division I) of the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS). [4] [5]

Volleyball, [6] basketball, baseball and golf are also played by students at the school.[ citation needed ]

Pantego Christian Academy (PCA) is a private Christian school in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. Its main campus, the Arlington Campus, has a building at 2201 West Park Row Drive in Arlington and a 57,000-square-foot (5,300 m2) high school building at 2221 West Park Row Drive in Pantego. The Arlington Campus has 670 students in grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The system also operates the Mansfield Campus at 2351 Country Club Drive in Mansfield which teaches 143 students from age 3 through grade 5. The Mansfield campus closed its doors in 2020 and now all students attend the Arlington campus.

Graham Field is a baseball park located on the campus of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX and was the home of the TCL Plano Blue Sox for the 2006 season. The team was one of the original members of the Texas Collegiate League as the Highland Park Blue Sox in 2004 and 2005 before moving to Plano. The main tenants of Graham Field are the Prestonwood Christian Academy Lions baseball team.

The Dallas Elite Women's Football team is an American women's tackle football team playing in Division I of the Women's Football Alliance (WFA). The team, based in and around Dallas, Texas, was founded in 2014. The Dallas Elite reached the playoffs and national championship game three years in a row, 2015–2017. They defeated the Boston Renegades 31–21 at Highmark Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 22, 2017, to win the WFA Division I National Championship. Although they missed the playoffs in 2018 and 2019, the team earned a playoff berth in 2021.

Yavneh Academy of Dallas is a coeducational, college preparatory Jewish private school in Dallas, Texas. It is guided by the tenets of Modern Orthodox Judaism. In 2019, the school merged with Akiba Academy of Dallas to become Akiba Yavneh Academy. With a student body of more than 400 students from 3 months of age through 12th Grade for the 2021–22 academic year, Akiba Yavneh Academy has dual curriculum of General and Judaic Studies.
