Prince Kollie (born March 1, 2003) is an American football linebacker for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He previously played for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Kollie attended David Crockett High School in Jonesborough, Tennessee. Kollie recorded over 100 tackles in his senior season and won the Butkus award. [2] He was a four-star recruit coming out of high school and committed to play at the University of Notre Dame on August 7, 2020. [3] [4]
Kollie began his Notre Dame career in 2021.

The Butkus Award, instituted in 1985 by the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando, is given annually to the top linebackers at the high school, collegiate and professional levels of football. The award, named in honor of College Football Hall of Fame and Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Dick Butkus, is presented by the Butkus Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports a number of health and wellness activities including the "I Play Clean" anti-steroid program. The award was first established by the Downtown Athletic Club of Orlando, which relinquished control of the award in 2008 following a lawsuit by Butkus.
Alfred James Golden Jr. is an American football coach and former tight end who is the defensive coordinator of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He served as the head football coach for the Temple Owls from 2006 to 2010 and the Miami Hurricanes from 2011 to 2015. Prior to head coaching, he was the defensive coordinator for the Virginia Cavaliers from 2001 to 2005.
