Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah [1] (born 16 March 1976) [2] is princess in the Brunei royal family. She is the fourth child of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and Queen Saleha. She presently serves as the Department of the Environment, Parks and Recreation's Senior Environment Officer and Chief of the Planning and Management Division. This organization is part of the Ministry of Development.
On 16 March 1976, Princess Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah was born. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Administration and Public Policy from the University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and a Master of Arts in Environmental Development from King's College London in January 2005. [3] [4]
On 11 February 2002, Princess Majeedah started her work as a Special Duties Officer in the Environment Unit, a division of the Ministry of Development in charge of strategic and policy-related environmental issues. Evaluating the Environmental Impact Assessment Report of the Sungai Liang Industrial Site Development is one of the duties of the Planning and Management Division. The Asean Youth Forum on Environment, which took place on 8 January 2007, is one of a number of successful initiatives under her direct supervision. [4]
Her writings include the Position Paper on Brunei's Accession to the Basel Agreement to Control the Disposal and Transboundary Transport of Hazardous Waste and the Environmental Management Guidelines for Quarry Activities. [4]
Her name Majeedah (or Majida) means "Magnificent" or "Glorious". [5]
On 10 June 2007, Princess Majeedah married Khairul Khalil at the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. He was given the noble title YAM Pengiran Anak. [6] From their marriage, the couple had two children. Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Hafeez was born on 18 March 2008, [7] meanwhile Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Raihaanah Hanaa-Ul Bolqiah was born on 6 January 2010. [8] On 7 December 2023, it was officially announced that Khairul Khalil was no longer her husband and would have his noble title revoked. [9]

Mohamed Bolkiah ibni Omar Ali Saifuddien III is a member of the royal family of Brunei. He is the second son of Omar Ali Saifuddien III, the 28th Sultan of Brunei, and Raja Isteri (Queen) Pengiran Anak Damit. After Brunei's independence in 1984, he became the country’s first foreign minister, serving from 1 January 1984 until 22 October 2015, alongside the second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Lim Jock Seng.
Sarah binti Salleh Ab. Rahaman is the wife of the Crown Prince of Brunei, Al-Muhtadee Billah and born as the daughter of a distant member of the royal family. While attending a pre-university course at 17, she married the Crown Prince. The couple have four children.
Pengiran Anak Saleha is a member of the royal family as the wife of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. She is the daughter of Pengiran Anak Mohamed Alam and Pengiran Anak Besar. After her husband was crowned as the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei, she succeeded her mother-in-law, Pengiran Anak Damit, as Raja Isteri. She is the mother of Crown Prince Al-Muhtadee Billah.
Khairul Khalil bin Ja'afari is the eldest son and second child of Pengiran Syed Haji Ja'afari bin Pengiran Syed Haji Mashor and Hajah Dayang Sarabanun bini Haji Abdi Manaf. The eldest child in the family is a daughter and Pengiran Khairul Khalil also has two younger siblings: a brother and sister.

Pengiran Anak Mohamed Alam OBE, sometimes spelled Muhammad Alam, was a nobleman, magistrate and politician who became the fourth Speaker of the Brunei Legislative Council from 1971 until 1974 and Chief of Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara from 1954 to 1981. He is the father of Pengiran Anak Saleha, the queen consort of Hassanal Bolkiah, the current Sultan of Brunei. He was also a maternal grandfather of Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince.
The Most Esteemed Family Order of Laila Utama is an order of Brunei. It was established on 1 March 1954 by Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien III. The order carries the post-nominal letters "DK" or "DK I" as well as the title "Dato Laila Utama".

Pengiran Anak Kemaluddin Al-Haj was a nobleman, politician and teacher from Brunei who previously served as the Speaker of the Legislative Council, Member of the Privy Council, and the head of the Department of Religious Affairs. He was the founder of several Arabic schools. The institutions included the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers College, the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Girls' Secondary Arabic Religious School, and the Hassanal Bolkiah Boys' Arabic Secondary School.
Pengiran Anak Abdul Aziz is a nobleman and formerly a police officer from Brunei who previously served as the Controller of the Royal Customs and Excise of Brunei, member of the Royal Succession Council, member of the Royal Council, and the Chief of Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara. He was one of the concept contributors for the change in the name of the Police Force to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) as a Royal Dignitary, a State Dignitary, and a Member of Councils. He is the current Chief of Jabatan Adat Istiadat Negara, a member of the Privy Council of Brunei, and assistant chairman of Adat Istiadat Council, and Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's board of governors.
