Alkaline Trio is an American punk rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band's current members are Matt Skiba, Dan Andriano, and Atom Willard (drums).
Maybe I'll Catch Fire is the second album by American punk rock band Alkaline Trio, released on March 14, 2000 through Asian Man Records. It was their final studio album for Asian Man and their last with drummer Glenn Porter. Porter was replaced by former Smoking Popes member Mike Felumlee after recording had finished, making his stage debut in December 1999. The band promoted the album with an appearance on the 2000 Plea for Peace Tour in June and July of that year.
From Here to Infirmary is the third studio album by American punk rock band Alkaline Trio. It was their first album for Vagrant and their only album with Mike Felumlee, who replaced their previous drummer, Glenn Porter. When Felumlee left the band shortly after the album's release, Atom Willard filled in on tour and appeared in the music video for "Private Eye", before Derek Grant became their new permanent drummer.
Matthew Thomas Skiba is an American musician, singer and songwriter, known for his role as the founding vocalist and guitarist for the band Alkaline Trio and also served as guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the band Blink-182 from 2015 to 2022. Skiba's lyrical content commonly involves dark romantic themes.

The group then signed to Asian Man Records and released their debut EP For Your Lungs Only and album Goddamnit in 1998. A second EP, I Lied My Face Off, followed in 1999 and resulted in their first music video, for the song "Goodbye Forever". In 2000 Asian Man released the band's second album, Maybe I'll Catch Fire, as well as the compilation album Alkaline Trio, collecting most of their previously released early material. It was recorded at Studio 606 and produced by Cameron Webb. It also marks the band's first release through Rise Records. Its six-year gap from Is This Thing Cursed? (2018) will mark the longest between two albums from the band to date.
