Private Jets is a Swedish power pop quartet that was founded in 2001 by twin siblings, Erik and Per Westin.
The band was formed with the aim of pioneering a fresh brand of power pop, drawing inspiration from diverse genres such as pop, rock, and jazz. The quartet was initially part of a songwriting project, but after being encouraged to record some of their songs, the Westins chose to form a band. Janne Hellman was recruited as lead vocalist, along with Mikael Olsson on bass. The former had previously worked with the brothers in the hi-speed pop outfit Revolver Bop Agents.
Private Jets released their debut EP, A Four Leaf Clover, in E-Major on May 27, 2002, on Sparkplug Records. It contained four songs along with a short snippet. The songs were written, arranged, produced, and performed by the brothers. Janne Hellman handled lead vocals across all tracks, while Olsson contributed his bass talents specifically to the song "Millionseller."
After the release of A Four Leaf Clover in E-Major, the brothers started to work on a new album. The band bio states that they wrote 43 new songs to be able to make an album filled with singles only. Of the songs written, the band chose to record twelve, and the result was released on May 26, 2008, as the album Jet Sounds. [1]
In May 2008, Private Jets made their live debut at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, playing the International Pop Overthrow, as evident from an IPO interview [2] from 2015. An extra show was added.
On November 7, 2008, the band played at the International Pop Overthrow in New York City, performing at Kenny's Castaways in Greenwich Village.
In 2012, the band released a new single called Speed of Sound. [3]

The sole video (released in 2010) of their song, I Wanna Be a Private Jet, is available on YouTube. [4] There are no other music videos listed under this music band.
Years later, in 2019, the band released their next single, Superpower Girlfriend. And in 2020, another single followed, Human Cannonball. [5]
The band's MySpace site lists Sweet, Jellyfish, The Zombies, Beach Boys, The Move, The Records, and The Rubinoos as influences. [6]
In a radio interview on Swedish Radio, Erik Westin said that the band was writing the music that they wanted to hear and were unable to find anywhere else. He also said that the band's ambition is to continually write the ultimate pop song.

Omnium Gatherum is a six-piece melodic death metal band from Finland, founded in the autumn of 1996. Although the band mainly follows the path of the melodic death metal genre, much of their work shows strong influences from progressive metal, especially their later albums. Their music is influenced by Gothenburg-style bands such as At the Gates, In Flames, Dissection, Dark Tranquillity, but also Iron Maiden, Death, Anathema and Megadeth among others.

Toxic Reasons were an American punk rock band, formed in 1979. The band released nine full-length studio albums between 1982 and 1995.
The Bear Quartet was a cult indie rock band from Luleå in northern Sweden. They were formed in the summer of 1989 with the original roster of Mattias Alkberg on guitar and vocals, Jari Haapalainen and Johan Forsling on guitar, Peter Nuottaniemi on bass, and Magnus Olsson on drums. However, the band's lineup changed significantly before eventually settling on Mattias Alkberg on vocals and guitar, Jari Haapalainen on guitar, Peter Nuottaniemi on bass, Jejo Perkovic on drums, and Calle Olsson on keyboards. Their name is a reference to the novel Gentlemen by Klas Östergren. Although they were formed in 1989, they didn't garner the attention of a record label until 1992. They made records at a steady rate from 1992, with their debut album, Penny Century, to 2010 with their final album Monty Python. Their albums were often received favorably, but they never resulted in large sales, usually only selling between 1,000 and 10,000 units per disc. The band is very obscure across the world, although they are much better known in Sweden.
Solefald is a Norwegian avant-garde metal/black metal band that was formed by members Lars Are "Lazare" Nedland and Cornelius Jakhelln in August 1995, with Nedland singing and playing keyboard/synthesizer/piano and drums, and Jakhelln singing and playing guitar and bass. The duo experiment with a wide array of musical styles, frequently work on other projects, and rarely perform live under the Solefald name, leading them to describe themselves as "two stubborn goats pretending to be a band." According to the duo, their name is an Old Norse word for "sunset," taken from one of Theodor Kittelsen's paintings illustrating a poem of the same name by Theodor Caspari, published in the 1901 book Vintereventyr.

Written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love, the dreamlike production quality was created through liberal use of overdubbing, reverb and delay effects. It was released in 1980 through the Polydor label in West Germany and The Netherlands, promoted by the single "Don't Treat Me This Way" backed with "Mindblower". An expanded and partly re-recorded version of the album was released as Stormvarning on the Polar Music label in Sweden the following year, the track "Love Light" is however only available on the international edition.

Talaash is the second studio album of the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released on September 3, 1993. The album was to be their first with bassist Brian O'Connell, who joined the band after Nusrat Hussain departed from the band to pursue his career as a solo artist and released his debut album Amrit in 1992. This was also the first Junoon album produced by Salman Ahmad and O'Connell, both also went on releasing several other albums by Junoon before O'Connell left the band after Dewaar in 2003. The album also served as a soundtrack for the Pakistani television show Talaash, which featured the band and its novel storyline was based on the band.
