Priyanandanan [1] is an Indian film and drama director from Kerala. [2] His second movie, Pulijanmam, received the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in 2006. [3]
Priyanandanan is a native of Vallachira in Thrissur District, Kerala. [4] He was born as the son of Thottipparambil Ramakrishnan and Kochammini [5] Priyanandanan started in career as an actor in stage shows. [6] His career started as a female character. Later he ventured into direction of stage shows. He used to be known as Priyan Vallachira at that time. [7] Priyanandanan started his film career under famous directors K. R. Mohanan, P. T. Kunju Muhammed and Manilal. He began filming numerous newsreels and documentary shorts, which include Fight for Land and Man or Manninum Manushyanum Vendiyulla Samarangal (about Comrade Achudanandan), People's Leader or Jana Nayakan about E. K. Nayanar, Teacher or Gurunathan (about Sanskrit expert K P C Narayanan Bhattathiri), and The History of Strikes in Trissur District or Trissur Jillayile Samara Charithrangal. His first movie was Neythukaran (2001) and it told the story of a weaver, a supporter of E. M. S. Namboodiripad. Murali won the National Award for the Best Actor for this film. Priyan also directed several television films including four shorts based on M. T. Vasudevan Nair's short stories, and Asokan Cheruvil's Dead People’s Sea (Marichavarude Kadal).

Sreenivasan is an Indian actor, screenwriter, director, dubbing artist and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. Sreenivasan has starred in over 225 films. Sreenivasan wrote the screenplays of films such as Odaruthammava Aalariyam (1984), Sanmanassullavarkku Samadhanam (1986), Gandhinagar 2nd Street (1986), Nadodikkattu (1987), Pattanapravesham (1988), Varavelpu (1989), Thalayana Manthram (1990), Sandesam (1991), Midhunam (1993), Mazhayethum Munpe (1995), Azhakiya Ravanan (1996), Oru Maravathoor Kanavu (1998), Udayananu Tharam (2005), Katha Parayumpol (2007), and Njan Prakashan (2018) among which the latter is one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of all time. He has won two Kerala State Film Awards for Best Screenplay, for Sandesam and Mazhayethum Munpe.
Hariharan is an Indian film director who has directed over 50 Malayalam films. His movies mainly revolve around the cultural and relational aspects of a typical Keralite society. His most notable works include Sharapancharam (1979), Panchagni (1986), Idavazhiyile Poocha Mindappoocha (1979), Amrutham Gamaya (1987), Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha (1989), Sargam (1992), Parinayam (1994) and Pazhassi Raja (2009) which has won him wide critical acclaim. Madhavan Nair, commonly known by his stage name Madhu, is an Indian actor, director, producer, former college lecturer and former film studio owner, who works in Malayalam cinema and a certain number of Hindi and Tamil films. He was a prominent lead actor during the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and has acted in more than 400 films. Madhu has also directed 12 films, produced 15 films and at one time owned the Uma Film Studio. He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013 for his contributions towards the arts. He was honored with the J. C. Daniel Award by the Government of Kerala in 2004, for his outstanding contributions to Malayalam films. He is the president of Indian People's Theatre Association (IPTA) Kerala Unit.
Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, known mononymously as Innocent, was an Indian actor, film producer, writer and politician. He predominantly worked in Malayalam films in addition to few Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and English films, mostly in comedic roles. In a career spanning more than five decades, he acted in more than 700 films and is considered one of the best comedians in Malayalam cinema. He also appeared in roles with negative shades such as in Mazhavilkavadi, Ponmuttayidunna Tharavu and Ganamela. Innocent had won several awards, including Kerala State Film Award and Kerala Film Critics Award.
