Psycho in the Wax Museum is an EP by the American punk rock band Misfits. It features two songs that were previously unreleased and were recorded during the American Psycho sessions. The versions included are instrumental, as it has been reported that the vocals were never recorded ("Angel Baby" has previously been performed live at soundcheck with vocals by Michale Graves). The single was only available via an offer from Misfits Records where proofs of purchase had to be sent in from Osaka Popstar's Osaka Popstar and the American Legends of Punk , Balzac's Beyond the Darkness and the Misfits' Project 1950 .

An extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP. Misfits (band) American Horrorpunk Band

Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the progenitors of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. Founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig, who soon added bassist Diane DiPiazza, guitarist Jimmy Battle and drummer Manny Martínez. Eventually Jerry Only took over on bass guitar and Danzig and Only were the only consistent members throughout the next six years, during which they released several EPs and singles, and with Only's brother Doyle as guitarist, the albums Walk Among Us (1982) and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood (1983), both considered touchstones of the early-1980s hardcore punk movement. The band has gone through many lineup changes over the years, with bassist Jerry Only being the only constant member in the group.

Contents

The cover art is by Butch Lukic and features the Misfits' mascot Crimson Ghost. The vinyl itself features an etched pattern of Fiend Skulls in the area that doesn't feature music. In 2011, Michale Graves recorded new vocals for the track "Angel Baby", renaming it "We Are the Wicked". [1]

Jerry Only American musician

Jerry Only is an American musician, well known as the bassist for the Misfits and later the vocalist as well. He is the only member to appear in every Misfits lineup.

Misfits Records is an independent record label conceived of in 2002 by founders Jerry Only of the Misfits and John Cafiero of Osaka Popstar. Intended to release Misfits material after the band's contractual obligations to Roadrunner Records were fulfilled by 2001's Cuts from the Crypt, the label's first non-Misfits signing was Japanese horror punk band Balzac, and its first release was the Misfits/Balzac split single "Day the Earth Caught Fire". Their sound and style combine elements of punk, rockabilly, gothic rock, metal and rock and roll. Since their formation, Stellar Corpses have continued to tour both in the US as well as internationally.
