Pterolophia laosensis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Maurice Pic in 1926. [1]
Mandschurosaurus is an extinct genus of hadrosaurids based on material from the Late Cretaceous of China and possibly also the Early Cretaceous of Laos. It was the first dinosaur genus named from China.
The Upper Laos caecilian is a species of amphibian in the family Ichthyophiidae. It is endemic to Laos and only known from a single specimen (holotype) collected from the imprecise type locality, "Upper Laos". Presumably a tropical moist forest species, nothing definite is known about its habitat or ecology.
The Mekong freshwater stingray, Hemitrygon laosensis, is a species of stingray in the family Dasyatidae, restricted to the Mekong and Chao Phraya Rivers in Laos and Thailand; the occurrence in Chao Phraya is considered an introduction. Measuring up to 62 cm (24 in) across, this ray has an oval pectoral fin disc, a tail with both upper and lower fin folds, and a midline row of spine-like dermal denticles. A characteristic feature of this species is its bright orange underside. The Mekong freshwater stingray preys on invertebrates and is aplacental viviparous. It has been assessed as Endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), as it is threatened by overfishing and habitat degradation.
Pterolophia is a genus of longhorn beetles of the subfamily Lamiinae, containing the following species:
Eunidia laosensis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Stephan von Breuning in 1964.

Pterolophia instabilis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Per Olof Christopher Aurivillius in 1922. It is known from Seychelles.
Pterolophia angulata is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Hermann Julius Kolbe in 1893. It has a wide distribution in Africa. It feeds on Lagerstroemia indica.
Pterolophia guineensis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by James Thomson in 1864, originally under the genus Alyattes.
Glenea laosensis is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Stephan von Breuning in 1956. It is known from Laos.
