Pulau Seringat is an island off the south coast of Singapore, and part of the Southern Islands region. In 2006, Pulau Seringat and Lazarus Island were linked by a sand bank.

The Sentosa Development Corporation oversaw the development and maintenance of these offshore islands south of Singapore from 1976 to March 2017, when it handed it back to the Singapore Land Authority.

Pulau Bukom, also known as Pulau Bukum, is a small restricted-access island belonging to Singapore that is located about five kilometres to the south of Mainland Singapore, off the Straits of Singapore. The size of Pulau Bukom is about 1.45 km2 (0.56 sq mi).

The state of Johor in Malaysia is noted for its national parks and forest reserves which preserve virgin rainforests known for its biodiversity and endangered species of animals. Mangrove swamps and coral reefs are also protected within these parks.

Bulan Island or Pulau Bulang is an island located 2.5 km south-west of Batam Island, with a land area of 100 km2. It is located in the Sijori Growth Triangle, Riau Islands Province, Indonesia. It is the largest island adjacent to Batam on its western side and is administratively part of Batam city. The strait between them is shallow and land reclamation and island amalgamation is feasible.
