Punta Negra is a small peninsula (punta) and a resort (balneario) in the Maldonado Department of Uruguay.
The resort is located just east of the peninsula, about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east of Piriápolis, 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) east of the resort Punta Colorada and 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) west of the resort Sauce de Portezuelo. The beach on its coast is called Playa Punta Negra.
In 2011 Punta Negra had a population of 178 permanent inhabitants and 505 dwellings. [1]

Piriápolis is a city in the Maldonado Department of Uruguay. It is an important summer resort in the country, predating the larger and better known resort town of Punta del Este. Because it is mainly used as a resort, it has a relatively small permanent population for a city of its size.
Pan de Azúcar is a city in the southwest of the Maldonado Department in Uruguay. It takes its name from a nearby hill, topped by a huge cross.

Maldonado is the capital city of Maldonado Department, in eastern Uruguay. According to the 2023 Census, it is the fourth most populated city in the country, with about 90 thousand inhabitants. However, together with the cities of Punta del Este and San Carlos it makes up a conurbation with a population of over 135 thousand inhabitants.

Kiyú – Ordeig is a coastal resort in the San José Department of southern Uruguay. It has two main nuclei 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) apart, Kiyú at the west and Ordeig at the east, joined by a stripe of houses that runs parallel to the beach.
