Purity Cherotich Rionoripo (born 10 June 1993) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. [1]

She won the Copenhagen Half Marathon in 2015 in 1:08:29 as well as the Lisbon Marathon in 2:25:09. She won the 2017 Paris Marathon with a time of 2:20:55, [2] and the Prague Marathon 2021 "Battle of the Teams" event in 2:20:14. [3]

She is married to Kenyan runner Paul Lonyangata. [2]

The Principality Building Society Cardiff Half Marathon is an annual half marathon race held in the Welsh capital city of Cardiff, taking place in October. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 Tokyo Marathon</span>

The 2018 Tokyo Marathon was the twelfth edition of the annual marathon race in Tokyo and was held on Sunday, 25 February. An IAAF Gold Label Road Race, it was the first World Marathon Majors event to be held that year. The men's race was won by Dickson Chumba in 2:05:30 hours while the women's race was won by Birhane Dibaba in 2:19:51. The men's runner-up Yuta Shitara set a Japanese national record time of 2:06:11 hours. This was also an Asian record. The host nation featured prominently in the men's race, with two runners in the top five and six of the top ten being Japanese. The Japanese women fared less well, with sixth-place Hiroko Yoshitomi being the best national performer.

Elisha Rotich is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon. Rotich has a personal best in the marathon of 2:04:21, which he set when he won and set the course record at the Paris Marathon in 2021. Rotich also won the 2016 Cannes Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes, the 2017 Chuncheon Chosunilbo Marathon, and the 2018 Eindhoven Marathon.
