Foxhole is a post-rock band from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Founded in November 2000 on the campus of Western Kentucky University, the group was heavily influenced by other Kentucky-linked bands such as Slint and June of 44. Foxhole has released three albums on Philadelphia's Burnt Toast Vinyl label and in December 2018 their latest LP, Well Kept Thing, was Grammy-nominated for "Best Recording Package."

Comatose is the sixth studio album by American Christian rock band Skillet. Released on October 3, 2006, by Lava Records, Ardent Records and Atlantic Records, this album continued a similar music style set by the band's 2003 album, Collide, of downplaying the keyboard elements that were prominent in previous releases in favor of distorted guitars, and included more of an emphasis on orchestral elements. Comatose was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on November 3, 2009, their first album to do so, and has since gone platinum, selling over 1,000,000 copies as of May 20, 2016. A deluxe edition of the album was released on December 26, 2007, and a live DVD of their headlining tour in support of the record was released in fall 2008. Comatose was nominated for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 50th Annual Grammy Awards on February 10, 2008.
Street Signs is the third studio album by American rock band Ozomatli. It was released on June 22, 2004, through Real World Records and Concord Records. Recording sessions took place at Glenwood Place Studios in Burbank, Beatdown Studios, G Digital Recording, Mountain Mouth Studios, and Dog Dropping Studios in Los Angeles, with additional recording at The Plant in Sausalito, California and Music Lane Recordings in Austin, Texas. "The Letter" is the third single by the band Hoobastank from their fourth studio album, Fornever (2009), released in the United States on January 27, 2009, and on June 19, 2009, in Australia. It is a duet version with Melbourne-based singer Vanessa Amorosi. Hoobastank singer Doug Robb said they want to release "The Letter" in many countries with different female artists. A video for "The Letter", featuring Amorosi, was shot in April 2009 by Grammy nominated director Paul Brown, also featured Jesse Charland as the bassist who eventually became an official member that year.
