Qanat-e Malek (Persian : قنات ملك‎, also Romanized as Qanāt-e Malek; also known as Qanāt-i-Malik)^[1] is a village in Baghestan Rural District, in the Central District of Bavanat County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 252, in 69 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Baghestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Bavanat County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 4,200, in 1,078 families. The rural district has 16 villages.

The District has two cities: Surian & Mazayjan.
