Qarz-e-Jaan is a compelling story of resilience, justice, and the pursuit of dreams, centered on Nashwa—a young woman whose life transforms as she faces societal injustices and personal hardships. Raised in Barkat Villa under the oppressive rule of her uncle Bakhtiar and the domineering influence of her grandmother, Nashwa and her mother, Bisma, have endured a life of servitude with little reward. Bisma's quiet sacrifices shape Nashwa's unwavering resolve to break free from the cycle of exploitation.
Despite the odds, Nashwa thrives academically, earning a law degree with distinction and aspiring to become a lawyer. However, Bakhtiar's relentless opposition challenges her ambitions, forcing her to confront the boundaries placed on her dreams. Refusing to yield to unjust demands, Nashwa chooses to forge her own path, even as it leads to impossible dilemmas.
When a defining moment arises, Nashwa is faced with the most challenging decision of her life—a choice that risks everything she holds dear. Guided by the memory of her mother's silent endurance, she rises to challenge the injustices surrounding her, embarking on a journey that demands immense courage, strength, and heart-wrenching sacrifices.
The official soundtrack for the series was performed by Quratulain Balouch, composed by Adrian David and the lyrics by late Shakeel Sohail. The OST released on 17 November 2024 by Hum TV.
