Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) is a school district based in Queen Creek, Arizona, United States. [2] It was formed in 1947 from land once part of the Higley Unified School District (at the time, neither district was unified; Queen Creek High School would not open until 1967).

Higley was an unincorporated community in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States. Higley's ZIP code was 85236 until 2007, when the U.S. Postal Service decided to abolish it for physical addresses, the 85236 ZIP code, however, remains in use for P.O. Box addresses at the Higley post office, located on Ray Road. As of 2010, almost all of Higley has been annexed into Gilbert or the neighboring cities of Mesa and Queen Creek. All that remains of Higley as an independent community is the school district, Higley Unified School District.

It is one of Arizona's fastest growing school districts, with modest continued growth despite the downturn in the economy at the end of the 2000s (decade). The District owns two preschools, nine elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools, and one virtual academy. In August 2013, the district opened two new middle schools and all other elementary schools that hosted grades K-8 went down to K-6.
Williams Field High School (WFHS) is a high school in Gilbert, Arizona. It is the second high school formed by the Higley Unified School District, and opened in August 2007. Its first students graduated in 2010. The school is named after Williams Air Force Base. The school is located near Higley Elementary and the Lyons Gate community.
Chandler Center for the Arts (CCA), is located in Chandler, Arizona and is jointly owned by the City of Chandler and the Chandler Unified School District. The Chandler Center for the Arts functions dually as the home theater for Chandler High School and the arts center for the City of Chandler. The Chandler Center for the Arts receives no direct appropriations for artistic programming. Any donations it receives must be applied only to the maintenance and operation of the actual building.

It opened in July 2015 and is named for Camille Casteel, superintendent of the district. The CUSD governing board changed its policy about naming schools after current staff specifically wished to name the school after Casteel.
Eastmark High School is a junior high and high school in Mesa, Arizona, the second public high school operated by the Queen Creek Unified School District. It is located in the Eastmark master-planned community on the site of the former Mesa General Motors proving grounds.
