Quentin Bigot (born 1 December 1992) is a French athlete specialising in the hammer throw. [1] He won the silver medal at the 2019 World Championships.

Contents

In July 2014 he was suspended for 4 years (2 on probation) for doping. [2]

On 22 May 2021, he did his personal best with 78.99 m at Polideportivo Municipal, Andújar (ESP), improved on 8 June 2021 with 79.70 m at Paavo Nurmi Games in Turku.

Quentin Rew is a race walker from New Zealand. At the 2011 World Athletics Championships Rew finished 24th in the 50 kilometres race walk. He represented New Zealand in the 50 km race walk at the 2012 Summer Olympics, originally finishing 30th. With the subsequent ban for a doping offence of Igor Yerokhin Rew's placing would be raised to 29th. At the 2015 World Championships in Athletics Rew finished 10th in the 50 kilometres walk in 3:48:48. At the XXI Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Rew finished 5th in the Men's 20 kilometres walk, with a time of 1:21:47. Quentin David Wheeler is an American track and field athlete. He had the misfortune to be one of the best 400 meter hurdlers in the world at the same time as Edwin Moses was invincible in the event. Wheeler ran in the 1976 Olympics, finishing fourth behind Moses at his debut on the international scene. Only Yevgeny Gavrilenko kept the United States from sweeping the event that year.

The 2014 European Cup Winter Throwing was held on 16 and 17 March at the Centro Nacional de Lançamentos and Estádio Municipal in Leiria, Portugal. It was the fourteenth edition of the athletics competition for throwing events and was jointly organised by the European Athletic Association and the Federação Portuguesa de Atletismo. Quentin Jarrod Iglehart-Summers is an American former track and field sprinter, who specialized in the 400-meter dash. He set a personal record of 45.46 seconds for the event in 2008. He was a gold medalist in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in 2012. He also won a relay gold medal at the 2006 World Junior Championships in Athletics. At collegiate level he was a four-time national champion in the relay with the Baylor Bears.

The men's hammer throw at the 2022 World Athletics Championships was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene on 15 and 16 July 2022.
