Quiet Storm (born November 20, 1983) is an American professional wrestler, currently working as a freelancer and is best known for his time with the Japanese professional wrestling promotions Kaientai Dojo and Pro Wrestling Noah. [4]
After competing as an amateur beginning with 1998, Storm made his professional wrestling debut in the year of 2000, and began working for Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), where at CZW Take One, show from June 8, 2001, he teamed up with Chris Divine as Divine Storm and Brian XL, falling short to The Spanish Announce Team (Joel Maximo, Jose Maximo and Amazing Red) in a six-man tag team match. [5] Storm also worked for Ring Of Honor (ROH), taking part in the ROH Night Of Appreciation on April 27, 2002, where he teamed up with Chris Divine to defeat Christian York and Joey Matthews. [6] While in MCW Pro Wrestling, Storm participated in a 20-man stampede battle royal at MCW Tribute To The Legends from May 22, 2002, competing against other popular superstars such as Adam Flash, Julio Dinero, Gillberg and Danny Doring. [7] On January 21, 2006, Storm participated at an event promoted by National Wrestling Alliance (NWA)'s satellite promotion NWA Cyberspace where he won a battle royal. [8] The most notable activity of his in Jersey All Pro Wrestling (JAPW) was a 7-man gauntlet match for the JAPW Light Heavyweight Championship which took place at JAPW Wild Card II on January 7, 2006, also involving the winner Teddy Hart, Azrieal, Archadia, Grim Reefer, Javi-Air and Matt Cross. [9] He once activated in the Lucha libre scene, competing at Lucha Libre World Cup 2017 , an event promoted by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) and Lucha Underground on the second night from October 10, where he teamed up with Cody Hall representing Noah, falling short to Team Mexico AAA (Pagano and Psycho Clown). [10] He made an appearance for Wrestle-1 (W-1) at W-1 WRESTLE-1 Tour 2017 Flashing Summer from August 28, where he teamed up with Yuji Hino and fought Daisuke Sekimoto and Manabu Soya in a time-limit draw. [11]
Storm participated in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)'s Lion's Gate Project, making his first appearance on the first edition of the event from February 25, 2016, where he fell short to Manabu Nakanishi. [12] He also competed in the second project from May 19, where he teamed up with fellow Noah wrestlers Katsuhiko Nakajima, Masa Kitamiya and Maybach Taniguchi in a losing effort to NJPW's Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Manabu Nakanishi, Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata. [13] He marked his last appearance at Lion's Gate Project 3, where he picked up a win against Henare. [14]
Storm made his first appearance in Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah) on the second night if NOAH One Day Cruise from May 4, 2014, where he participated in a 10-man battle royale competing against Super Crazy, Takeshi Morishima, Zack Sabre Jr. and others. [15] He continued to make sporadic appearances for the promotion such as at NOAH Navigation With Breeze 2014 on May 31, where he unsuccessfully challenged Daisuke Harada for the GHC Junior Heavyweight Championship. [16] Storm marked notable work in the Global Junior Heavyweight Tag League, making his first appearance on the 2014 edition of the event, where he teamed up with Daisuke Harada, placing themselves in the Block B accumulating a total of six points leading the block, but fell short to Cho Kibou-Gun (Hajime Ohara and Kenoh) in the finals. [17] Another notable tournament of the promotion in which Storm took place was the Noah Global League, making his first appearance on the 2014 edition, placing himself in the Block B, scoring a total of two points after going against Takashi Sugiura, Chris Hero, Yuji Nagata, Masato Tanaka, Maybach Taniguchi, Muhammad Yone and Mikey Nicholls. [18] He scored his best performance at the 2016 edition, where he obtained eight points after competing against Minoru Suzuki, Toru Yano, Katsuhiko Nakajima, Lance Archer, Maybach Taniguchi, Akitoshi Saito and Takashi Iizuka. [19] He also activated in the 2017 edition where he faced other new foes such as Kazma Sakamoto finishing with six points, [20] and in 2018 edition, where he scored another six points and newly faced Masa Kitamiya and Mitsuya Nagai. Masato Tanaka is a Japanese professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW) in Japan where he was a one-time FMW Brass Knuckles Heavyweight Champion and a one-time WEW World Heavyweight Champion and in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in the United States where he was a one-time ECW World Heavyweight Champion. He is currently splitting his time wrestling for both Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah) and Pro Wrestling Zero1 (Zero1). He is overall a ten-time world champion in major professional wrestling promotions.
The Global Honored Crown (GHC) Heavyweight Championship is the professional wrestling world heavyweight championship created and promoted by Pro Wrestling Noah, which was merged with Japanese promotion DDT to form CyberFight in 2020. It is one of CyberFight's two top men's world titles, alongside the KO-D Openweight Championship in DDT Pro-Wrestling. The title was also defended on Impact Wrestling which has a working relationship with Pro Wrestling Noah. It was created on April 15, 2001 when Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Yoshihiro Takayama in a 16-man tournament final. Though its name implies a particular weight class, it has been periodically held by junior heavyweights, including Yoshinari Ogawa, Kenta, Naomichi Marufuji, Katsuhiko Nakajima and Kenoh. The current champion is Kaito Kiyomiya, who is in his third reign. He defeated El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. at Noah Wrestle Magic on May 4, 2024, in Tokyo, Japan.
Hiroshi Tanahashi is a Japanese professional wrestler, sports executive and podcaster. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he serves as the president and representative director of the promotion, and is also an active wrestler.
Kenta Kobayashi, known mononymously as Kenta, is a Japanese professional wrestler. He works for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a member of the Bullet Club stable. A former amateur kickboxer, Kobayashi's wrestling style is based upon strong kicks and strikes. Kobayashi pioneered both the Go 2 Sleep and Busaiku Knee kick finishing manoeuvres, later popularized by CM Punk and Bryan Danielson, respectively.
Tokimitsu Ishizawa, better known by his ring name Kendo Kashin, is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is perhaps best known for his time in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he was a two time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, a one time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and the winner of the 1999 Best of the Super Juniors. He is also known for his forays into mixed martial arts, most notably for Pride Fighting Championship (Pride), where he defeated Gracie Jiu Jitsu fighter Ryan Gracie at PRIDE 15. Naomichi Marufuji is a Japanese professional wrestler currently signed to Pro Wrestling Noah. Marufuji is a four-time GHC Heavyweight Champion, as well as the first of two men to win Junior Heavyweight Championships in all three major Japanese promotions. In 2009, he was appointed to the position of Vice President of Pro Wrestling Noah, and has retained the position since, being reappointed in September 2011. He also makes occasional appearances in other professional wrestling promotions including New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW), Ring of Honor (ROH), and Impact Wrestling.
Takashi Sugiura is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently working for Pro Wrestling Noah (Noah). Sugiura, an accomplished amateur wrestler, joined Noah's dojo in 2000, making his professional debut on December 23, 2000, and thus becoming the first wrestler to make his pro wrestling debut in Noah. He has also competed in mixed martial arts with a notable victory over Giant Silva. Sugiura wrestled as a junior heavyweight in his earlier pro career and is a former GHC Junior Heavyweight Champion. Sugiura moved up to heavyweight and became the second longest reigning GHC Heavyweight Champion, having held the title for 581 days between December 2009 and July 2011. As of September 2011, Sugiura is the chairman of Noah's Wrestler's Association and holds the concomitant position on the promotion's board of directors.
Taiji Ishimori is a Japanese professional wrestler signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he wrestles as part of the Bullet Club. Ishimori is a three-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and is also a one-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion alongside former Bullet Club teammates Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa.

Kyosuke Mikami, better known by his ring name El Desperado, is a Japanese professional wrestler. He is signed to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), where he is a former four-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion. He was a member of the Suzuki-gun stable from 2014 until its disbandment in 2022.
No Limit was the professional wrestling tag team of Tetsuya Naito and Yujiro Takahashi. The team formed in early 2008, working in their home promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling's (NJPW) junior heavyweight division, where they later in the year captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. For most of 2009, through NJPW's foreign relationships, No Limit worked for promotions in the United States and Mexico, most notably Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), before returning to NJPW at the start of 2010. Now working as a heavyweight tag team, the team captured the IWGP Tag Team Championship shortly thereafter, becoming the first tag team to have held both the junior heavyweight and heavyweight versions of NJPW's tag team championship. Naito and Takahashi broke up in May 2011 and afterwards entered a storyline rivalry with each other.
Wrestle Kingdom III in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) promotion, which took place at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan on January 4, 2009. It was the 18th January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the third held under the "Wrestle Kingdom" name. The event featured eleven matches, five of which were contested for championships.
