The Quiniluban Group is a group of islands in Palawan Province of the Philippines situated between the islands of Palawan and Panay in the Sulu Sea. The group is the northernmost in the Cuyo Archipelago, consisting of several islands and rocks. The easternmost of which is a circular group of islands surrounded by reef about 6 nautical miles (11 km; 6.9 mi) in diameter. The largest of the circular group is Quiniluban Island. The island group also includes the upscale resort island of Pamican located about 5.6 nautical miles (10.4 km; 6.4 mi) southwest of the circular group, [1] and Manamoc Island located 3.0 nautical miles (5.6 km; 3.5 mi) further southwest of Pamilacan. These mostly hilly islands are of limestone formation, have no permanent streams, and very little wood, but are covered with tall grass. Most of the inhabitants live along the coast, and there is some cultivation on the larger islands. [3]

The island group is under the jurisdiction of the Municipality of Agutaya, Palawan, with its town center located 16 to 18 nautical miles (30 to 33 km; 18 to 21 mi) southeast of the Quiniluban Island Group on Agutaya Island, depending on the location. [4]

The island is set in the middle of a 7-square-kilometre (2.7 sq mi) coral reef. It has a length of 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi), and measures only 500 metres (1,600 ft) at its widest point. Pamalican can be found 7 miles southwest of Quiniluban island and 3 miles northeast of Manamoc island.

It is located 150 kilometres (93 mi) southeast of Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan. The uninhabited islands and reefs are part of the island municipality of Cagayancillo, located roughly 130 kilometers (81 mi) to the northeast of the reef.

The Cuyo Archipelago or Cuyo Islands, is a group of about 45 islands lying to the northeast of the Philippine island of Palawan. It lies south of Mindoro and between Northern Palawan and Panay. It is centered on the largest island of the archipelago, Cuyo Island, with an area of 22 square miles (57 km2) and is about 9 miles (14 km) long.

Kabo (Kabusgan) Island is a small island off the coast of the main island of Mindanao; administratively, it is in Barangay Day-asan, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, of the Caraga Region of the Mindanao island group of the Philippines. The island itself provides a simple livelihood to caretakers where they yield fruits of the island that were used for charcoal making and raw materials for copra in the region, not to mention the six spring waters that provide water to the island. The island is owned by the Calderon family in Surigao.

Rasa Island is a flat coral island in the Sulu Sea just off the coast of the municipality of Narra in Palawan, Philippines. It is a shallow island surrounded by mangroves and tidal flats containing one of the country's last remaining coastal forests. The island is home to the largest population of the endemic and critically endangered Philippine cockatoo in the wild in the Philippines. It was declared a protected area in 2006.
