Ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 6 is a protein in humans that is encoded by the RPS6KA6 gene. [4]
This gene encodes a member of ribosomal S6 kinase family, serine-threonin protein kinases which are regulated by growth factors. The encoded protein may be distinct from other members of this family, however, as studies suggest it is not growth factor dependent and may not participate in the same signaling pathways. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2010].
Transforming growth factor, beta receptor II (70/80kDa) is a TGF beta receptor. TGFBR2 is its human gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 is a component of the 40S ribosomal subunit and is therefore involved in translation. Mouse model studies have shown that phosphorylation of eS6 is involved in the regulation of cell size, cell proliferation, and glucose homeostasis.
Platelet-derived growth factor subunit B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PDGFB gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA1 gene.
protein S6 kinase, 90kDa, polypeptide 3, also s RPS6KA3, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA3 gene.
Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit 1 (eIF2α) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EIF2S1 gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-5 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA5 gene. This kinase, together with RPS6KA4, are thought to mediate the phosphorylation of histone H3, linked to the expression of immediate early genes.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA2 gene.
ETS translocation variant 1 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ETV1 gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase beta-2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KB2 gene.
Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit 3 (eIF2γ) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the EIF2S3 gene.
60S ribosomal protein L31 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the RPL31 gene.
40S ribosomal protein S21 is a protein, encoded in humans by the RPS21 gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA4 gene.
Tensin-like C1 domain-containing phosphatase is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the TENC1 gene.
Ribosomal protein S6 kinase delta-1 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KC1 gene.
Zinc finger protein 7 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the ZNF7 gene.
Diacylglycerol kinase beta is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DGKB gene.
The KSR2 gene is Kinase suppressor of ras 2 it is a protein that in humans is encoded by the KSR2 gene. KSR2 mutation effects in humans by obesity and because KSR2 gene reduces the ERK signaling and it reduces glucose and fatty acid oxidation. KSR2 mutation reduces the glucose and fatty acid oxidation process but it makes growth factor "Epidermal growth factor (EGF)" reaction more faster to simulate cell growth and KSR2 cause insulin resistance, KSA2 gene also regulates how the body uses the energy, and it usually causes type 2 diabetes.
Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase 6 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the MAP3K6 gene.
