Robin Das is a former football player from Howrah, India.
He was born on 15 January 1954 at Howrah, West Bengal. He was a student of Santragachi Kedarnath Institution and Akshay Shikshayatan. He played in the Subroto Cup numerous times for his school. Afterwards, he got a job with the Eastern Railways and played for the team. He played the Santosh Trophy many times for the club. Afterwards, he was appointed the chief cashier of a nationalized bank. He left footballing in 1982 due to hard work. [1]
Rabin joined Sporting Union that was playing first division in Calcutta. He started training under Pradeep Banerjee. He played an exhibition match in Kabul against Pakistan for the Senior Indian Football team and scored a goal against Pakistan. In club football, Rabin's first contract was with East Bengal in the mid 1970s. Next he played for the Mohammedan S.C. Afterwards he signed to Mohun Bagan. Up to 1982, he played for Mohun Bagan club. Mohammad Abdus Sattar was an Indian footballer. He was also known as Madar Abdus Sattar.
Subrata Bhattacharya is an Indian football manager and former professional footballer. He primarily played as a defender for India national team and spent seventeen years playing for Mohun Bagan. He was the stopper back for Mohun Bagan during 1975 IFA Shield final when East Bengal beat Mohun Bagan 5–0, the biggest ever margin in the Kolkata Derby. The 2015–16 I-League U18 is the eighth season of the Indian I-League U18 competition. The 2019 Durand Cup was the 129th edition of the Durand Cup, oldest football tournament in Asia, since the tournament's founding in 1888. 16 teams competed in the tournament. The matches were played across three locations in West Bengal, namely Kolkata, Howrah and Kalyani from 2 August 2019. The final took place at the Salt Lake Stadium on 24 August 2019.
