Rahn (Persian : رهن‎; also known as Dahan and Dehan)^[1] is a village in Howmeh Rural District, in the Central District of Gonabad County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 941, in 264 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Howmeh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Gonabad County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 16,701, in 4,732 families. The rural district has 31 villages.

The Central District of Gonabad County is a district (bakhsh) in Gonabad County, Razavi Khorasan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 64,849, in 18,169 families. The District has two cities: Gonabad and Bidokht. The District has Two rural districts (dehestan): Howmeh Rural District and Pas Kalut Rural District.
