However the film is rated as an average, but the director Hari Santhosh fetched best director in Karnataka state film awards 2012–13.

The film was declared a blockbuster at the box office.
Birugaali is a 2009 Indian Kannada language action film written and directed by Harsha making his second directorial after Geleya. Jackson is a 2015 Indian Kannada romantic comedy film directed by Sanath Kumar, a former editor who worked mostly with director Yogaraj Bhat, making his directorial debut. The film stars Duniya Vijay, Paavana Gowda along with Rangayana Raghu in the lead roles. The film is an official remake of the Tamil blockbuster film Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013) which was directed by Gokul. The film opened on the screens on 15 January 2015.
Chowka is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Tharun Sudhir, making his debut, and produced by Dwarakish, marking his 50th production film. It features an ensemble cast of Vijay Raghavendra, Prem, Diganth, Prajwal Devaraj, Chikkanna, Aindrita Ray, Priyamani, Bhavana and Deepa Sannidhi.
18th Cross is a 2012 Indian Kannada-language film directed by Shanker and Produced by Rathna Chikkanna, starring Deepak and Radhika Pandit in lead roles.
Yuga is a 2007 Indian Kannada-language action drama film directed by Chandra and starring Duniya Vijay and Kavya in her film debut. This film was Vijay's first release after the success of Duniya (2007) and was a box office failure despite initially releasing to houseful theatres and running for fifty days. His next film Chanda (2007) released weeks after this film.
