Bipasha is a 1962 Indian Bengali-language drama film starring Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen. and directed by Agradoot. The film is based on a novel titled Bipasha by Sri Tarashankar Bandyopadhay.The story fleetingly describes the horror of riots in West Pakistan during the time of Partition of India. Bipasa was described as a victim of that riot in the film. However, the film deviates from the original novel and avoids describing Bipasha as a gang rape victim by Pakistani Islamist rioters.
Byomkesh was a 2014 Indian Bengali crime fiction television series based on the Bengali sleuth Byomkesh Bakshi created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. The series starred Gaurav Chakrabarty, Saugata Bandyopadhyay and Ridhima Ghosh as Byomkesh Bakshi, Ajit and Satyabati respectively. The series premiered on 20 November 2014 on Colors Bangla channel and ended on 14 November 2015. This series is re-runned on 4 March 2024. The first episode was narrated by Sabyasachi Chakrabarty.
Mahanayak was a Bengali drama television series of 112 episodes that premiered on 27 June 2016, on Star Jalsha. The series starred Prosenjit Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Tanushree Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Manali Dey, Biswanath Basu and Biswajit Chakraborty in lead roles. The series is loosely based on the life of megastar Uttam Kumar.
Ekti Raat is a 1956 Indian Bengali-language comedy film directed by Chitta Basu and produced by Harendranath Chattopadhyay based on, Bhimpalashree, a story of Bengali novelist Balai Chand Mukhopadhyay. The film stars Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen in the lead roles with Tulsi Chakraborty and Bhanu Banerjee. This film was released on 26 April 1956 in the banner of H.N.C. Productions. In the 1990s, a television series Manush, based on the same plot, aired. This film became successful at the box office.

Productions. The music direction was done by Kalipada Sen. The film stars Uttam Kumar, Suchitra Sen, Bhanu Bandopadhyay, Chhabi Biswas and Tulsi Chakraborty.

This film was released on 6 August 1954 under the banner of Chitra Mandir and received 2nd National Film Awards in 1954. The music was composed by Amal Mukherjee. This is a comedy drama film. The film stars Uttam Kumar in lead and others, while Ajit Bandyopadhyay, Gangapada Basu, Bidhayak Bhattacharya, Swagata Chakraborty, Tulsi Chakraborty, Nripati Chatterjee, Sabitri Chatterjee, Aparna Debi, Tarun Kumar, Priti Majumdar and Bireswar Sen played supporting role. Uttam Kumar played the role of a thief role which was very unique.

The film stars Uttam Kumar and Suchitra Sen in lead roles and Chhabi Biswas, Tulsi Chakraborty, Bhanu Bannerjee, Chhaya Devi, Molina Devi, Shishir Batabyal, Gurudas Bannerjee, Kanu Bannerjee, Dhiraj Bhattacharya and Sumana Bhattacharya in the supporting roles. The film was produced by Sreelekha Pictures. The film become semi hit at the box office and for 50 days in theaters.
