Ralja is a village in the municipality of Smederevo, Serbia. According to the 2022 census, the village has a population of 1,322 people.
Smederevo is a city and the administrative center of the Podunavlje District in eastern Serbia. It is situated on the right bank of the Danube, about 45 kilometres downstream of the Serbian capital, Belgrade.
The Podunavlje District is one of nine administrative districts of Southern and Eastern Serbia. The district's name refers to its location by—specifically, to the south of—the Danube river. It expands across the central parts of Serbia. According to the 2022 census results, it has a population of 175,573 inhabitants. The administrative center is the city of Smederevo.

The Jezava is a river in central Serbia. Formerly a distributary of the Great Morava that flowed into the Danube in Smederevo at the Smederevo Fortress, its upper course was separated from the Great Morava by a dam after floods in 1897. In the 1970s the lower course of the Jezava was diverted into a new stream bed, leading to the Great Morava. The old bed of the Jezava in Smederovo has been retained for drainage of the urban area of Smederovo. The Jezava drains an area of 692 km², belonging to the Black Sea drainage basin.
National Road 1.10, was a road in Serbia, connecting Ralja with Smederevo. After the new road categorization regulation given in 2013, the route wears the name 14, except for the section Radinac – Smederevo 1, which is currently not numbered. The route was a national road with two traffic lanes.
