Ramkumar Ganesan (born Ramkumar Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, 12 January 1953) is an Indian film producer and actor. He is the head of Sivaji Productions, a film productions company that has produced several films, particularly featuring his father Sivaji Ganesan or his younger brother Prabhu.
Born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, Ramkumar is the eldest son of Tamil actor Sivaji Ganesan and the older brother of Tamil actor Prabhu, Shanti and Thenmozhi. He studied at Bishop Cotton Boy's school, Bangalore and graduated with a degree in business administration from Vivekananda College and began working at the production company Sivaji Productions established by his father. Ramkumar took over Sivaji Productions after his uncle V. C. Shanmugham had died. [2] The company is being led by Ramkumar along with his brother Prabhu. [3] The most notable production under Ramkumar remains the blockbuster Chandramukhi in 2005. In 2009, the brothers produced the film Aasal starring Ajith Kumar. [4] Ramkumar has also acted in a couple of scenes, playing notable supporting roles in Aruvadai Naal and My Dear Marthandan , both starring Prabhu. He appeared as one of the antagonists in director Shankar's I . [2]
Ramkumar has been married to Kannamal. They have three sons, Dushyanth who works with Sivaji Productions and has acted in the Tamil films Success and Machi, [5] and twins Dharshan and Rishyan.
His second marriage was to Meenakshi, Sripriya's elder sister. They have 2 sons, Vishnu and Shivaji Dev, the latter of whom is married to Suja Varunee.

Villupuram Chinnaiya Manrayar Ganesamoorthy, better known by his stage name Sivaji Ganesan, was an Indian actor and film producer. He was mainly active in Tamil cinema during the latter half of the 20th century. Sivaji Ganesan is acknowledged as one of the greatest Indian actors of all time and among the most imitated one by other actors. He was known for his versatility and the variety of roles he depicted on screen, which also gave him the Tamil nickname Nadigar Thilagam. In a career that spanned close to five decades, he had acted in 288 films in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Sivaji Ganesan is the only actor in Tamil cinema to have played the lead role in over 250 films.
Chandramukhi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language psychological horror comedy film written and directed by P. Vasu. It is a remake of Vasu's Kannada film Apthamitra (2004) which itself was remake of Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1993). The film stars Rajinikanth, Prabhu and Jyothika along with an ensemble supporting cast, including Vadivelu, Nayanthara, Nassar and Sheela. It revolves around a woman who suffers from dissociative identity disorder that affects a family, and a psychiatrist who intends to solve the case while risking his life.

Prabhu was one of the leading actors in Tamil cinema in the later 1980s and 90s. He is popularly known as Ilaya Thilagam. He has worked in more than 220 films in lead and supporting roles in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.

Autobiography of an Actor: Sivaji Ganesan, October 1928 – July 2001 is the autobiography of Indian actor Sivaji Ganesan published by Sivaji Prabhu Charities Trust. It is told in a Q&A format between Ganesan and T. S. Narayanaswamy. The book was originally published in Tamil under the title Enathu Suya Sarithai on 1 October 2002, and the English translated version by Sabita Radhakrishna was released on the same date five years later.
Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum is a 2016 Indian Tamil language fantasy comedy movie filmed in parts of West Malaysia, Indonesia and Cambodia. It was written and directed by Amudheshwar and produced by Dushyanth Ramkumar. The film stars Prabhu, Kalidas Jayaram, Ashna Zaveri and Pooja Kumar in the lead roles. It was promoted as Prabhu Ganesan’s 200th film. The principal photography of the film commenced in November 2015 in Chennai and the film was released exactly a year later. Kamal Haasan shot for a cameo appearance in the film. It also marked the feature film debut of Kalidas Jayaram, son of noted film actors Jayaram and Parvathy, who had appeared as a child artist during the early 2000s and also his official Tamil debut.
