Ramon "Ray" Lugo III is an American aerospace engineer who served as the Director of NASA's Glenn Research Center. He currently serves as the Director of the Florida Space Institute at the University of Central Florida. [1] He previously served as Glenn's Deputy Director from 2007 to 2010. [2]
Lugo received his bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Central Florida in 1979,and his master's degree in engineering management from the Florida Institute of Technology in 1982. He began his career with NASA while still a student at UCF in 1975. During his career he served as the Executive Director of the Cape Canaveral Spaceport Management Office,Director and Deputy Director of the Expandable Launch Vehicle Services Program,Manager of the Facilities and Support Equipment Division in the Space Station Program Office,and as Chief of the Joint Performance Management Office. In April 2010,he was named the Director of the Glenn Research Center in Cleveland,Ohio. Prior to being selected as the Director,he previously served as the facility's Deputy Director since 2007. [2]

Yvonne Jean Pendleton is an American astrophysicist and is currently the Chief Scientist of NASA’s Solar System Exploration Research Virtual Institute (SSERVI) at Ames Research Center in Mountain View,California. Pendleton earned degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology,Stanford University,and the University of California at Santa Cruz and was hired by NASA as a civil servant in 1979. She served as a research scientist in the Space Science and Astrobiology Division at NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) until 2007,including as Division Chief from 2006-7. In 2007 she was promoted to the Senior Executive Service,the highest level of civil service within the Federal government,and throughout her career has served in high-level leadership positions at both NASA's ARC and Headquarters. Her scientific research has investigated the origin and evolution of organic material in our galaxy and is currently focused on the composition of the solar nebula from which our Solar System formed. She is an elected fellow of the California Academy of Sciences and Asteroid 7165. Pendleton was named by the International Astronomical Union in honor of her research contributions.
Janet E. Petro is an American engineer and civil servant currently serving as the 11th director of NASA's John F. Kennedy Space Center. She was appointed by NASA Administrator Bill Nelson on June 30,2021,making her the first woman to serve as director. Petro previously served as deputy director at the John F. Kennedy Space Center.
