Raphael Obermair (born 1 April 1996) is a German professional footballer who plays as a winger for 2. Bundesliga club Paderborn 07. [1]
Obermair was born in Prien am Chiemsee, Bavaria. [2] He spent his youth career at TSV 1860 Rosenheim.
In 2014, Obermair was promoted to the first team of TSV 1860 Rosenheim. He played in a total of 84 games, scoring 4 goals in his two-year spell with the senior team.
In 2016, Obermair joined the second team of Bundesliga club Bayern Munich. [3]
In 2018, Obermair signed a two-year deal with Austrian Bundesliga club Sturm Graz. [4] [5]
In August 2019, Obermair signed a two-year contract with 3. Liga club Carl Zeiss Jena, joining the club on a free transfer. [6] [7] He scored his first and only goal for Carl Zeiss Jena in a 3-2 away defeat against Chemnitzer FC. [8] In June 2020, after playing for one season, it was announced that Obermair have left the club. [9]
In summer of 2020, Obermair joined 3. Liga club Magdeburg on a free transfer, signing a deal until June 2022. [10] Magdeburg won the 2021–22 3. Liga title and were promoted to 2. Bundesliga for the 2022–23 season. [11]
In 2022, it was announced that Obermair joined 2. Bundesliga club Paderborn on a free transfer. [12] [13] [14]
Obermair was born and raised in Prien am Chiemsee, Germany to a German father and a Filipino mother, making him eligible to represent either Germany or the Philippines at international level. [15]
In May 2021, he was called up to the Philippines for three 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification matches. [16]
In November 2021, Obermair was once again called-up for the Philippines in the 2020 AFF Championship, but was not able to secure a release from his club. [17]

Magdeburg
FC Carl Zeiss Jena is a German football club based in Jena, Thuringia. Founded in 1903 it was initially associated with the company Carl Zeiss. From the 1960s to the 1980s it was one of the top-ranked clubs in East Germany, won the DDR-Oberliga and the FDGB-Pokal three times each and reached the 1981 European Cup Winners' Cup Final. Since the German reunification in 1990, the club has competed no higher than the second tier. Since the 2021–22 season, Jena is playing in the Regionalliga Nordost.
The 1993–94 DFB-Pokal was the 51st season of the annual German football cup competition. 76 teams competed in the tournament of seven rounds which began on 1 August 1993 and ended on 14 May 1994. In the final Werder Bremen defeated Rot-Weiß Essen 3–1 thereby claiming their third title.

The 2008–09 3. Liga was the inaugural season for the newly formed tier III of the German football league system. The inaugural game was played on 25 July 2008 between FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt and Dynamo Dresden, ending with a 1–0 win for Dresden. The last games were played on 23 May 2009. 1. FC Union Berlin were the inaugural champions, securing first place on 10 May 2009. Runners-up Fortuna Düsseldorf were also promoted. Third-placed team SC Paderborn 07 played a relegation/promotion play-off against the 16th-placed team from 2. Bundesliga, VfL Osnabrück, winning both games and earning promotion.
