Glenn Rashad Moore (born March 16, 1979) is a former American football defensive tackle. He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft. He played college football at Tennessee.
Moore was also a member of the Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, New England Patriots, and the Atlanta Falcons.
Moore attended Johnson High School in Huntsville, Alabama and was a student and a letterman in football and basketball. [1] In football, as a senior, he posted 65 tackles, 10.5 sacks, and three fumble recoveries. In basketball, he was an All-Metropolitan selection and an All-Area selection.
From 1998 through 2002 Moore attended the University of Tennessee. [2] He played at defensive tackle the last four years (1999–2002) and totaled 95 tackles and 3.5 sacks. [3] He majored in Psychology.
In 2003 the Seattle Seahawks selected Moore in the sixth round (183rd overall) of the 2003 NFL draft. [4] In his rookie season he played in 14 games and made 30 total tackles and one sack. [5] The next season (2004), he played in all sixteen of the Seahawks' regular season games and made 46 total tackles and two sacks. [6] After completing the team's 2005 training camp, Moore was released from the team. He did not play for any team in 2005. In 2006, he was signed by the New York Jets [7] and he played in thirteen games, making 10 total tackles. [8] On June 8, 2007, the New England Patriots signed Moore to a contract. [9] He played with the team in all four of the 2007 preseason games before being released on September 1, 2007 [10] in the team's final roster cutdown. On December 19, 2007, the Patriots re-signed him.
On March 7, 2008, he signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
Lawyer Marzell Milloy is an American former professional football player who was a safety in the National Football League (NFL) for 15 seasons. He played college football for the Washington Huskies, and earned unanimous All-American honors. He was selected by the New England Patriots in the second round of the 1996 NFL draft, and also played for the Buffalo Bills, Atlanta Falcons, and Seattle Seahawks of the NFL. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection, a two-time All-Pro, and a member of the Patriots' Super Bowl XXXVI championship team that beat his hometown team, the St. Louis Rams.
Dwight Jason Freeney is an American former football player who played as a defensive end and linebacker for 16 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Syracuse Orangemen, earning unanimous All-American honors. He was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2002 NFL draft. With the Colts, Freeney won Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears, and made seven Pro Bowls. He also played for the San Diego Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks and Detroit Lions.
MeShaunda "Shaun" Pizarrur Ellis, nicknamed "Big Katt", is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end who spent the majority of his career with the New York Jets of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers. Ellis was selected by the Jets in the first round of the 2000 NFL draft with the 12th overall pick. He also played for the New England Patriots. He was a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
Deon D'Marquis Grant is an American former professional football player who was a safety for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers football, was a member of Tennessee's national championship team and earned All-American honors. He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the second round of the 2000 NFL draft, and also played professionally for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks and New York Giants of the NFL. He won a Super Bowl ring with the Giants against the New England Patriots.
Jonathan Joel Babineaux is a former American football defensive tackle who played all 12 seasons of his career with the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected by the Falcons in the second round with the 59th overall pick in the 2005 NFL draft.
Parys Sharron Haralson was an American professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the 5th round in the 2006 NFL draft. He played college football for the Tennessee Volunteers as a defensive end.
Robert Michael Ninkovich is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker and defensive end for eleven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Purdue Boilermakers as a defensive end and was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL draft. He also played in the NFL for the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots, winning two Super Bowls with the latter. After eight seasons with the Patriots, Ninkovich announced his retirement from the NFL following the 2016 season.
