Alcazar is a Swedish nu-disco group. Alcazar is one of Sweden's most successful music groups both nationally and internationally with a string of hits since their debut single in 1999. Worldwide, Alcazar sold over 12 million records between 2001 and 2004. Alcazar also had success globally in 2000 with their song "Crying at the Discoteque", having charted in USA, Brazil, Australia, Japan and most countries in Europe.

Roosarna, also known as the Kjell Roos Band, is a dansband in Vallsta, Sweden. The band was formed in 1969 by the brothers Kjell, Anders and Sven-Åke as Bröderna Roos. In the mid-1970s they changed their name to Roosarna. Since 1975, it is a full-time playing band. In 1982, the band began to collaborate with Kikki Danielsson.
Allting som ni gör kan jag göra bättre is the eighth studio album by Swedish pop and rock artist Magnus Uggla. It was released in 1987. The album consists only of cover songs. The title is a reference to both the fact that the entire album is cover songs, "you" being the original artists, and also a call-back to the musical Annie Get Your Gun. Most of the songs are famous recordings from the progg era.
Livets teater is a studio album by Swedish pop and rock artist Magnus Uggla. It was released in October 1976, and was his second studio album. The album peaked at number 28 on the Swedish Albums Chart. In the documentary movie Rockdokumentären, Magnus Uggla stated that he was heavily inspired by the progressive rock bands Yes and Genesis during the writing and recording of this album. Uggla claimed in October 2000 that Livets teater was, in his opinion, the worst album he had made.

Barbados is a Swedish dansband, formed in 1992, who have had several Swedish chart successes. The band, with lead singer Magnus Carlsson, became widely known after their second place in Melodifestivalen 2000. The band has replaced lead singer three times. First Magnus Carlsson left the group in 2002 and later became a member of the group Alcazar. Mathias Holmgren, a former Fame Factory student was the new lead singer, but was forced to leave the band in 2004. Chris Lindh replaced him, before leaving the band in 2007. The current lead singer is Björn Lagerström.

E.M.D. was a Swedish boyband consisting of Erik Segerstedt, Mattias Andréasson and Danny Saucedo. All three members had participated on the Swedish version of Idol, with Erik as a finalist and Danny at 6th place on Idol 2006. Mattias was eliminated as the fourth runner-up on Idol 2007.
Varning på stan is a song written and recorded by Magnus Uggla for the album Va ska man ta livet av sig för när man ändå inte får höra snacket efteråt in 1977. He also recorded the song with lyrics in English by Colin Griffin, as "Hit the Girls on the Run". The single peaked at number two on the Swedish singles chart. When played on radio, Sveriges Radio were reported to Radionämnden when some listeners considered the song lyrics being too vulgar and sexist. The English language-version was used in the 1978 film En vandring i solen, and the Swedish language original version was used in the 1997 film Adam & Eva.
Helene & gänget was a dansband in Kristianstad in Sweden, founded 1990 by members of the Färmarna dansband. The band broke through in 1995 with the album Segla din båt i hamn. The band broke up in 2002 and its singer Helene Persson begun acting as SR Kristianstad programme host.
