Real Malabar is an Indian professional football club founded in Kondotty, [1] [2] Kerala, that plays in Kerala Premier League, the top division football league in the state of Kerala. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
Real Malabar Football Club was formed in 2021, [1] in Malappuram, [7] to compete in the Kerala Premier League. [5] [6] The club was formed by a Malayali businessman Usman Thennala, who is based in Dubai. The title sponsor for the club's first season, 2021–22, was the Edex Group. [2]
Real Malabar FC's main rivalries are with Kerala United FC, Luca Soccer Club, Sports Academy Tirur, BASCO, FC Areekode and Gokulam Kerala. [8] [6]
