Rebecca Jasontek (born February 26, 1975) is an American competitor in synchronized swimming. She is the youngest daughter of Michael and Virginia Jasontek. Rebecca grew up in Loveland, Ohio and attended Mount Notre Dame High School. She has an older sister, Julie. Rebecca's mother is the head coach of the Cincinnati Synchrogator Team. Ginny Jasontek is a former synchronized swimming champion from New Jersey who started the Synchrogator team in September 1969 at the Gamble-Nippert YMCA.

Jasontek won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics, in the team competition. [1]

Education

Jasontek attended The Ohio State University from 1993–1997 and received a Bachelor of Arts, Communication. She graduated cum laude.

Personal life

Rebecca married Joey Tomsic in August 2003 and they welcomed their son in April 2010.

Rachel Komisarz, also known by her married name Rachel Komisarz-Baugh, is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder. She began swimming when she was a senior at Warren Mott high school because of a gymnastics injury that left her with two fractured vertebrae. Komisarz swam at the University of Kentucky and became a seven-time All American swimmer and three-time SEC Champion by the end of her four years at the university. Not only was Komisarz very dedicated to swimming while at the University of Kentucky, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Kinesiology major with an emphasis in exercise.

Betsy Mitchell is an American competition swimmer who was a world record-holder, world champion, and Olympic gold and silver medalist. She also was a member of the United States' 1994 Rowing World Championship team.

Anna Kozlova is a former synchronized swimmer who competed in three Olympic Games. After competing in the 1992 Summer Olympics and winning four European Championships representing the Soviet Union and its successor organizations, she defected to the United States in 1993.
