The Señorita Panamá is a national beauty pageant in Panama. As of the 2024 edition, Señorita Panamá winners represent Panamá in Miss Universe and Miss International. The Miss Panama brand started in 1952, when the Panamanian Institute of Tourism received an invitation from Miss Universe to send a representative. In 1975, the Señorita Panamá name was used for the first time, reverting to Miss Panama in 1976. In 1982, Señorita Panamá was created by RPC Channel 4 as an alternative to send its winners to the Miss World contest in London. These pageants, along with smaller pageants such as Miss International Panamá and Miss World Panamá celebrated to select delegates for international representations.
The Miss Uruguay is a national beauty pageant in Uruguay that selects Uruguay representatives to compete in three of the big four major international beauty pageants: the Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth competitions.

Yohana Benitez was crowned Miss Universo Paraguay and represented the country at the Miss Universe 2010. Egni Eckert was chosen as Miss Mundo Paraguay and went to the Miss World 2010 pageant while María José Paredes represented Paraguay at the Miss International 2010 pageant after being chosen as Miss Internacional Paraguay.

The winners have the right to represent Paraguay in the 3 major international beauty pageants, Miss Universe 2011, Miss World 2011 and Miss International 2011. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo.
The 19th annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant was held at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico on September 1, 2012. Thirty-five contestants of Mexico competed for the national title, which was won by Cynthia Duque from Nuevo León who later competed in Miss Universe 2013 in Russia. Duque was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karina González. She is the fourth Neoleonesa to win this title.

The Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2013 pageant was held at the Yacht & Golf Club Paraguayo on June 27, 2013 to select Paraguayan representatives to the 4 major beauty pageants. Egny Eckert, Miss Universe Paraguay 2012, Fiorella Migiore, Miss World Paraguay 2012, Nicole Huber, Miss International Paraguay 2012, and Alexandra Fretes, Miss Earth Paraguay 2012, crowned their successors, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Coral Ruiz, Marta Raviolo and Karen Duarte, respectively. This is the first time that the pageant was broadcast on LaTele, with new franchises holders, Salvador Mass and Isabel Mussi, and with a new name, 'Nuestra Belleza'.

Myriam Carolina Arévalos Villalba is a Paraguayan model and beauty pageant titleholder who after being crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay at the Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2014 pageant represented her country at the Miss World 2014 pageant held in London. She also represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas.
Laura Leticia Garcete Riveros is a Paraguayan model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2015 but was dethroned since she got pregnant during her reign.

Sally Jara, Miss Universo Paraguay 2014, crowned her successor Laura Garcete at the end of the event; she was the Paraguayan candidate for the 2015 Miss Universe pageant. Elected to represent Paraguay at Miss World 2015 was Giovanna Cordeiro, for Miss International 2015 was Mónica Mariani, and for Miss Earth 2015 was Myriam Arévalos. The pageant was not broadcast live for the first time in a long time.
