Miss Paraguay is a national Beauty pageant in Paraguay. The contest has responsibility to select its winner to the Miss Universe.
The 54th Annual Miss Puerto Rico Universe pageant was held at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum on October 22, 2008, in Hato Rey section of San Juan, Puerto Rico. A record of 70 contestants competed for the crown, in which the competition was televised live by WAPA-TV. On October 11, 2008, the show entered its final stage when twelve finalists elected by the public remained.
The 14th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Auditorio "Profr. Manuel Bonilla Valle" of Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico on October 6, 2007. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Elisa Nájera from Guanajuato, who later competed in Miss Universe 2008 in Vietnam where she was the 4th Runner-up. Nájera was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Rosa María Ojeda. She is the first and only Guanajuatense to win this title.

The Miss Paraguay 2010 pageant was held on July 9, 2010. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo. Yohana Benitez was crowned Miss Universo Paraguay and represented the country at the Miss Universe 2010. Egni Eckert was chosen as Miss Mundo Paraguay and went to the Miss World 2010 pageant while María José Paredes represented Paraguay at the Miss International 2010 pageant after being chosen as Miss Internacional Paraguay.
The 18th annual Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the Centro Internacional de Convenciones of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico on August 20, 2011. Thirty-four contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Karina González from Aguascalientes who later competed in Miss Universe 2012 in United States where she was a Semifinalist in the Top 10. González was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karin Ontiveros and Ximena Navarrete Miss Universe 2010. She was the first Hidrocalida to win this title.

Yohana Benítez, Miss Universo Paraguay 2010; Egni Eckert, Miss Mundo Paraguay 2010; and María José Paredes, Miss Internacional Paraguay 2010, crowned her successors Alba Riquelme, Nicole Huber and Stephanía Vázquez at the end of the event. The winners have the right to represent Paraguay in the 3 major international beauty pageants, Miss Universe 2011, Miss World 2011 and Miss International 2011. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo.
The 19th annual Nuestra Belleza Mexico pageant was held at the Poliforum del Centro de Convenciones of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, Mexico on September 1, 2012. Thirty-five contestants of Mexico competed for the national title, which was won by Cynthia Duque from Nuevo León who later competed in Miss Universe 2013 in Russia. Duque was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Karina González. She is the fourth Neoleonesa to win this title.

Alba Riquelme, Miss Universo Paraguay 2011, crowned her successor Egny Eckert at the end of the event; she was the Paraguayan candidate for the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Elected to represent Paraguay at Miss World 2012 was Fiorella Migiore, for Miss International 2012 was Nicole Huber, and for Miss Earth 2012 was Alexandra Fretes. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo.
Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Alejandra Andreu, Miss International 2008, crowned Bea Santiago of the Philippines at the end of the event. This was the second consecutive year Japan hosted the pageant.

It was broadcast live on LaTele.
Myriam Carolina Arévalos Villalba is a Paraguayan model and beauty pageant titleholder who after being crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay at the Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2014 pageant represented her country at the Miss World 2014 pageant held in London. She also represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas.
The Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2015 pageant was held on September 21, 2015. Sally Jara, Miss Universo Paraguay 2014, crowned her successor Laura Garcete at the end of the event; she was the Paraguayan candidate for the 2015 Miss Universe pageant. Elected to represent Paraguay at Miss World 2015 was Giovanna Cordeiro, for Miss International 2015 was Mónica Mariani, and for Miss Earth 2015 was Myriam Arévalos. The pageant was not broadcast live for the first time in a long time.

She represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Thailand, and represented Paraguay at Reina Hispanoamericana 2018, held in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where she finished as the second runner-up.

Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 was the 30th edition of the Reina Hispanoamericana pageant. It was held on October 30, 2021 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Regina Peredo of Mexico crowned Andrea Bazarte of Mexico as her successor at the end of the event. This marked Mexico’s first back-to-back victory in the pageant and third overall victory.
