Thomas John Digweed is a British DJ and record producer. DJ Magazine voted him the World No. 1 DJ in 2001. As well as achieving success as a solo act,he has collaborated with Sasha as Sasha &John Digweed,and with Nick Muir as Bedrock.
Sasha &John Digweed are a British DJ duo comprising Sasha and John Digweed. Digweed had been DJing for ten years before getting a gig at Renaissance where he met Sasha,who had been working the past few years in various acid house music clubs and raves. Together,they honed their DJ skills,focusing on track selection and technical mixing abilities. In 1994,they released the triple CD mix album Renaissance:The Mix Collection on Renaissance Records. It contained many popular dance hits of the time from artists such as Leftfield,Fluke,and 2 Bad Mice as well as original productions and remixes from themselves. Two years later,the duo became "true superstars" (AllMusic) with the release of their double CD Northern Exposure on mega-label Ministry of Sound. This release was brought to the United States the next year in a single CD package on Ultra Records. 1997 saw the release of the Northern Exposure 2 double CD mix album,again on Ministry of Sound. Sasha and Digweed toured internationally,helping define the sound of progressive house &trance music in the late 1990s. In 1998,both John Digweed and Sasha released separate mix albums on Boxed as part of the Global Underground series with Digweed's GU 006:Sydney and Sasha's GU 009:San Francisco release.

Creamfields is the fifteenth DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold,released in 2004. The double album was inspired by the annual Creamfields festival which at the time took place at the "Old Liverpool Airfield" organised by the Cream brand where Oakenfold had often performed. The album was released to commemorate Oakenfold's performance at the sixth annual Creamfields festival which took place several weeks after the album's release on 28 August 2004. Oakenfold performance at the festival was headlining the Cream/Goodgreef and Mixmag Arena. Creamfields was also the third in a series of mix albums of the same name commemorating the festival,with previous albums by different DJs being released in 2000 and 2001,with both releases carrying the same name. Oakenfold's Creamfields was considered a relaunch of the series

Renaissance is a British electronic dance music club brand and record label. Renaissance was started by Geoff Oakes at Venue 44 in Mansfield,England in March 1992. Renaissance was Geoff Oakes' antidote to the sci-fi imagery and dressed down clubbers of the 'rave' scene. Early resident DJs at Renaissance were Ian Ossia,Sasha,John Digweed and Nigel Dawson;other DJs with long-time attachments include Dave Seaman,Nick Warren,David Morales,Anthony Pappa and Hernán Cattáneo.
The Goa Mix is a two-hour DJ mix by British musician and DJ Paul Oakenfold. It was originally broadcast on BBC Radio 1 as an Essential Mix on 18 December 1994 after the producer of the show,Eddie Gordon,chose Oakenfold to produce an eclectic DJ mix for the show which featured a burgeoning variation of electronic styles,having begun the previous year. Oakenfold had,at this point,developed his own unique Goa trance sound,influenced by his time at hippy gatherings on beaches in Goa,and employed it heavily into the mix,which also made pioneering use of film score samples. Oakenfold used the mix as an experiment in which he tried to fuse electronic music,especially trance music,with film score music,and then to overlay the result with vocal parts,samples and additional production. The mix was split into two parts,later referred to as the Silver Mix and the Gold Mix respectively. Reflecting the Goa influence,the album title did not evolve beyond its simplistic working name.
Airdrawndagger is the second studio album by Welsh DJ Sasha. It was released on 5 August 2002 through Kinetic Records and BMG,with a digital download release issued by Deconstruction Records. The album features co-production from Charlie May,Junkie XL and James Holden. It was released with one single,"Wavy Gravy",on 19 August 2002,which had an amateur remix contest held in 2003. Despite the release of The Qat Collection in 1994,Airdrawndagger was advertised as Sasha's "debut artist album". Upon release,the album charted on the UK and US Albums Charts,peaking at number 18 and 157 respectively.
Northern Exposure is the second mix album by British DJ duo Sasha &John Digweed. Released on 27 September 1996,it is the first in their Northern Exposure series,followed by Northern Exposure 2 in 1997 and Northern Exposure:Expeditions in 1999. There is both a British edition released by Ministry of Sound and an American edition released by Ultra Records in 1997. The British package contains both CDs,whereas the American only has the first disc. In 2013,the album was certified silver in the UK.
"Dirty Epic" is a 1994 single by British electronic band Underworld. It is a remix of the track "Dirty" released by Underworld in 1992,under the name Lemon Interupt. It appeared on the album dubnobasswithmyheadman,and it was later released as a single in Europe in October 1994 and released in the US as a double A-side with "Cowgirl".
Tribal Gathering is the original British electronic dance music festival that between 1993 and 2004 catered for different types of dance music cultures such as techno,house and drum &bass. After 18 years,Tribal Gathering returns in 2023 for a two-day event to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

"Song of Life" is the fourth single released by English electronic group Leftfield and the first on a CD single release. The song was released on 12" and CD on 30 November 1992. The sleeve of the single had the footnote "dedicated to the memory of Steve Walters whose support,friendship and encouragement will never be forgotten". It reached #59 in the UK charts. The song was also used as the backing track for Channel 4's Dispatches programme. The Remix 12" featured two remixes by British electronic music then-trio Underworld:"The Lemon Interrupt Mix",as well as the "Steppin' Razor Mix",which both feature on Sasha &John Digweed's mix album Renaissance:The Mix Collection. The track appears in the movie Lara Croft:Tomb Raider and its soundtrack.
Oakenfold Anthems is a compilation DJ mix album by British electronic producer and disc jockey Paul Oakenfold,released in 2008 on WMTV. His eighteenth mix album,the album is a triple album containing popular electronic singles,mostly focused on the progressive house and progressive trance genres,that Oakenfold considers favourites,and the material on the album mostly draws from Oakenfold's label Perfecto Records. Indeed,the album cover contains the caption "The Classic Perfecto Mix".
Journeys by DJ:70 Minutes of Madness is a DJ mix album by English electronic duo Coldcut,released on 16 October 1995. It was the eighth instalment in the Journeys by DJ series of mix albums released by the label of the same name. Unlike previous editions,which focused on house music,Coldcut's mix profiles the act's 'freestyle' mixing approach,blending 35 tracks that span many genres,including techno,hip hop,electro,jungle and funk,into an eclectic set.
