The Renault/Nissan C is an automobile platform for front wheel drive automobiles. Production Nissans on this platform began to surface in 2004, with the Japanese-market 7-seater Lafesta.

Renault calls it the M engine. Other noteworthy features of this engine family include acoustically equal runner lengths and a tumble control valve for the intake manifold, a "silent" timing chain, mirror finished crankshaft and camshaft journals, and offset cylinder placement in an attempt for increased efficiency.

The D platform is a front wheel drive automobile platform for mid-size cars from Nissan. It is slightly smaller than Nissan FF-L platform.

Despite that, the abbreviation was never announced officially by the company.

The Nissan LL platform is an automobile platform for rear wheel drive and all wheel automobiles. According to Nissan in 1999, vehicles built on this platform share floor panel and functional assemblies such as the engine, transmission and chassis components attached to it. It was used on luxury sedans and was no longer used when models built on the platform were discontinued in 2010.
