Resorts World Theatre is a theatre on the grounds of Resorts World Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Since opening in December 2021, the venue primarily hosts concert residencies, and it has the capacity to host conventions and sporting events. [1]
On June 24, 2021, Resorts World Las Vegas opened as the newest hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip in more than a decade. [2] Upon the hotel's opening, the theatre remained closed, and it was supposed to open with a Celine Dion concert on November 5, 2021. [3] Dion's inaugural performance was ultimately cancelled due to medical issues, and the theatre opened on December 1, 2021, with a Carrie Underwood concert. [4] [5] Since opening, the venue has hosted concert residencies by Katy Perry and Luke Bryan, among other limited engagements. [6]
The venue is a joint development between Resorts World Las Vegas and AEG Presents, and it is exclusively operated by Concerts West. [1]
The 4,700-seat theatre was designed by Scéno Plus, a world-renowned entertainment design firm based out of Montreal. The 13,550-square-foot stage is one of the largest on the Las Vegas Strip, measuring 64-foot deep by 196-foot wide. The proscenium opening measures 123-feet wide by 50-feet tall, and features a motorized system to adjust the opening size. The theatre also features a 576-square-foot stage lift that can sustain up to 86,400 pounds, and almost 5,000 square feet of customizable LED screens. [1] The audio system at the venue is equipped by L-Acoustics, and features an estimated 267 speakers that create a "multi-dimensional surround sound experience." [7] The "intimate" theatre features unobstructed sightlines with the furthest seat being only 150 feet from the stage. [2]

PH Live, originally known as Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts, is a mid-sized auditorium located at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. The venue hosts a variety of events, including charity benefits, concerts and award shows. It is used frequently for the beauty pageants Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. The 18,600-seat auditorium is being marketed for its immersive video and audio capabilities, which include a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, speakers with beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies, and 4D physical effects. The venue's exterior also features 580,000 sq ft (54,000 m2) of LED displays. Sphere measures 366 feet (112 m) high and 516 feet (157 m) wide. The arena cost $2.3 billion, making it the most expensive entertainment venue built in Las Vegas.
Circa Resort & Casino is a casino and hotel resort in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada, on the Fremont Street Experience. The property was previously occupied by the Las Vegas Club hotel-casino, the Mermaids Casino, and the Glitter Gulch strip club. Circa is owned by brothers Derek and Greg Stevens, who also own other downtown casinos. They purchased the Las Vegas Club in 2015, followed by the acquisition of Mermaids and Glitter Gulch. Play was the first concert residency hosted by American singer Katy Perry. The first eight concerts were announced in May 2021, which ran at Resorts World Theatre from December 29, 2021, to January 15, 2022. Eight more shows were added later that month in response to popular demand, extending the residency to March 2022. Ticket sales became widely available to purchase on May 24 after a pre-sale for those with Citibank cards. Perry announced in January 2022 that she had added 16 more shows for May through August. On June 1, 2022, she announced that a further eight shows were added for October due to increasing demand.
