Rhys Litterick (born 2 March 1999) is an English rugby union player who plays as a prop forward for Cardiff Rugby. He is Welsh and Scottish qualified.

Career

From Sussex, Litterick played semi-professional rugby for Worthing RFC whilst working as a building site landscaper. [3] He was due to sign for Blackheath F.C. in National League 1 but the deal fell through when the COVID-19 pandemic happened. In 2021, he signed for Harlequins on a six-month deal, and also played for Esher RFC on loan. [4] He also played for London Scottish on loan, making his debut in February 2023. [5] Litterick made six appearances in total for Harlequins before leaving at the end of the 2022-23 season. [6] He was announced to be joining Cardiff Rugby in July 2023. [7]

Personal life

Litterick qualifies for Wales through his father Kevin, who is from Ogmore; as well as qualifying for Scotland. Litterick was reportedly mentored at Harlequins by Welsh front-row player Adam Jones. [8]

Gethin Jenkins is a Welsh former professional rugby union player who played as a prop for Pontypridd, Celtic Warriors, Cardiff Blues and Toulon. At international level, he won 129 caps for Wales. On his 105th appearance in 2014, he became Wales' most-capped player, overtaking the record held by Stephen Jones; having earned his final cap in November 2016, his record was surpassed by Alun Wyn Jones in September 2019. Ceri Rhys Jones is a Welsh professional rugby union coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of North Wales side RGC 1404. As a player, he typically played as a loosehead prop, but he could also play tighthead. Adam Mathias Jones is a Welsh former professional rugby union player who played as a lock. He captained the Wales Under-19 team and earned his first caps for the Wales senior team as a replacement against England and Scotland in the 2006 Six Nations Championship. He began his career with Swansea RFC before a spell in England with Saracens and Harlequins, before returning to Wales with Cardiff RFC. At the start of the Welsh regional era, he signed for the Llanelli Scarlets and played for them for four seasons, before a seven-year spell with the Newport Gwent Dragons.
