Rich as in Spirit is the debut studio album by American rapper Rich Homie Quan. It was released on March 16, 2018, by Motown Records. [4] The album has been supported by two singles: "Changed" and "34". It features a sole guest appearance from rapper Rick Ross.
In February 2017, it was announced that Rich Homie Quan has signed a record deal with Motown Records, [5] after that he released the mixtape, Back to the Basics . On March 2, 2018, the album cover, release date and tracklist was revealed. [6]

Bryan Christopher Williams, better known by his stage name Birdman, is an American rapper and record executive. He is the co-founder and public face of Cash Money Records which he founded with his older brother Ronald "Slim" Williams in 1992. Birdman released his debut album in 2002, and has gone on to release four solo studio albums in total. Aside from his solo career, he is also a member of the hip-hop duo Big Tymers, along with producer Mannie Fresh.

Entertainment and Motown, and is an independent artist as of 2021. Quan experienced commercial success with the 2013 single "Type of Way", and the 2015 single "Flex ". In addition, Quan joined the Cash Money Records spin-off project, Rich Gang in 2014, which had successful singles such as "Lifestyle" and the mixtape Rich Gang: Tha Tour Pt. 1 (2014). Quan's debut studio album Rich as in Spirit was released on March 16, 2018, and debuted at number 32 on the US Billboard 200.
"Type of Way" is a song by American rapper Rich Homie Quan. Produced by Yung Carter, it was released on August 22, 2013 as the second single from his third mixtape Still Goin In: Reloaded. On September 27, 2013, the official remix, featuring Jeezy and Meek Mill was released. The single garnered positive reviews from critics for both Quan's unique flow and Carter's production creating a catchy anthem. "Type of Way" peaked at number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100, his highest charting solo single on that chart until 2015's "Flex ". It also peaked at numbers 8, 12 and 21 on the Hot Rap Songs, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Rhythmic charts respectively.
