Richard Coughtrie (born 1 September 1988) is an English born Scottish cricketer,a wicket-keeper-batsman who most recently played for Gloucestershire. He made his first-class debut for Oxford UCCE against Worcestershire in April 2009. [1] Coughtrie signed a two-year contract with Gloucestershire in November 2010. [2] Coughtrie worked as a teacher of economics at Dulwich College,London and now works at Eton College.
Born 1 September 1988,North Shields,Northumberland,Coughtrie made his first-class debut for Oxford UCCE in April 2009 opening the batting scoring 4 and taking two catches in a drawn match. [3] He made his debut for Gloucestershire after making a host of second XI appearances against Derbyshire in April 2011. He scored 20 in the first innings,however didn't keep wicket due to first option Jonathan Batty playing. Gloucestershire beat Derbyshire by seven wickets. [4] Coughtrie scored 47 not out in 69 balls in a three-day University match against Cardiff UCCE in April 2011. [5] Coughtrie made 45 in the first innings in a drawn match against Essex in May 2011. [6] In August 2011,Coughtrie made his first-class top score as he made 54 not out to top score in the Gloucestershire first innings against Derbyshire in a seven wicket loss. [7]
On 7 October 2013,it was announced that Gloucestershire were releasing Coughtrie after he played just one Twenty20 match in 2012. [8]
In September 2012 Coughtrie was called up to the Scotland squad for their tour to South Africa. [9] Coughtrie is eligible due to his Scottish father. [10]

The 2005 English cricket season was the 106th in which the County Championship had been an official competition. Before it began,a resurgent England cricket team had won four Test series in a row,going unbeaten through the 2004 calendar year. The start of the international season saw England defeat Bangladesh 2–0 in their two-match series,winning both Tests by an innings. This was followed by a tri-nations one-day tournament that also featured Australia. Australia still started the Test series as favourites but most fans expected England to put up a challenge.
Oxford UCCE started their 2005 first-class season with a weak draw against a Gloucestershire side that opted to use the game as batting practice. Their second first-class game,against Derbyshire,Oxford UCCE did well in the first innings,dismissing their visitors cheaply and building up a large lead. However,they weren't able to dismiss them a second time,in a game which was reduced through rain. In the third match,they lost by ten wickets against Lancashire,after a poor showing in their second innings.
Northamptonshire County Cricket Club in 2005 are playing their cricket in Division Two of the County Championship and Division One of the totesport League. They started the season at 12–1 to win the Division Two title. During the off season 9 players left.
The MCC University matches in 2005 are games played between the University Centre of Cricketing Excellence ("UCCEs") and first-class opposition. This is the first year the games are called "MCC" University matches,after the MCC announced a funding plan to support the development of student cricket.

Andrew Carter is an English cricketer. A right-handed batsman and right-hand medium pace bowler,he began his county career with Nottinghamshire,making his first-class debut for them in June 2009. He also played on loan for Essex in 2010 and Glamorgan in 2015 while with Nottinghamshire. Carter joined Derbyshire prior to the 2016 season,but left the club later in the year. He represented England Lions in 2011.
Liam Connor Norwell is an English cricketer who currently plays for Warwickshire. A right-handed batsman and right-hand medium pace bowler he made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Derbyshire in April 2011. Norwell signed a new two-year contract for Gloucestershire in 2013.
Edward George Christopher Young is an English cricketer,a right-handed batsman and slow left-arm orthodox bowler who last played for Gloucestershire. He made his first-class debut for Oxford UCCE against Worcestershire in April 2009. Young signed a two-year development contract with Gloucestershire in August 2010 whilst also studying at Oxford Brookes University. Young's older brother,Peter was also a cricketer and also played nine first-class games for Oxford UCCE.
The 2019 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that formed part of the 2019 domestic cricket season in England and Wales. The tournament was won by Somerset,their first win in the tournament since 2001. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side and had List A cricket status. All eighteen first-class counties competed in the tournament,which due to the 2019 Cricket World Cup being hosted in England took place at the beginning of the English cricket season starting on 17 April 2019,with the final taking place just over a month later at Lord's on 25 May 2019. Hampshire were the defending champions.
The 2019 Marylebone Cricket Club University Matches were a series of cricket matches that were played between the eighteen County Championship teams and the six Marylebone Cricket Club University teams (MCCU) of England and Wales. The first two rounds of fixtures were classed as first-class matches. Each county side played one fixture against an MCCU side ahead of the start of the 2019 County Championship.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.

On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
