He is also the president of Palladium Hotels &Resorts with branches in Palawan,Siargao and Boracay. In 2016,he was elected as the youngest mayor of Noveleta,Cavite at the age of 35. In 2004,he became the youngest Vice Mayor of Cavite City at the age of 23. In 2010,he also served as No. 1 Provincial Board Member representing the 1st Congressional District of Cavite. He also became one of the youngest majority leaders of Cavite Province at the age of 29. He often assumes the position of Acting Vice Governor whenever the Governor or Vice Governor is on-leave.

The Governor of Iloilo is the local chief executive of the Philippine province of Iloilo. The governor holds office at the Iloilo Provincial Capitol located at Bonifacio Drive,Iloilo City. Like all local government heads in the Philippines,the governor is elected via popular vote,and may not be elected for a fourth consecutive term. In case of death,resignation or incapacity,the vice governor becomes the governor. Along with the governors of Aklan,Antique,Capiz,Guimaras and Negros Occidental,he sits in the Regional Development Council of the Western Visayas Region.
Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE) in the Philippines were held on October 30,2023. The elected barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials will begin their terms at noon on November 30,2023. The barangay is the smallest administrative division in the country.

It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916.
