Richeese Factory is an Indonesian fast food restaurant chain specializing in fried chicken served with cheese sauce. It is owned by PT Richeese Kuliner Indonesia, a subsidiary of Nabati Group. Since its founding in 2011, the chain has grown to hundreds of outlets across Indonesia and has expanded internationally to Malaysia.
Richeese Factory opened its first restaurant on 8 February 2011 at Paris Van Java Mall in Bandung, West Java. [1] It is operated by PT Richeese Kuliner Indonesia, part of Nabati Group. [2]
Its parent company, Nabati Group, was originally a snack manufacturer established as PT Nabati Jaya Indonesia, later renamed PT Kaldu Sari Nabati Indonesia in 2007. [3]
In 2018 Richeese Factory won a Bronze medal in the WOW Brand Awards in the Fast-food restaurant category in Indonesia. [4]
From a single outlet in Bandung, Richeese Factory expanded across Indonesia, with more than 130 branches by the early 2020s. [3] As of 2024 [update] , the chain had 176 outlets across Indonesia and has expanded internationally to Malaysia. [5]
In April 2025, the company launched Richeese Pizza, a new brand offering pizzas with signature spicy sauces, premium cheese, and local flavor innovations at its first outlet in Bandung. [6]
Richeese Factory is known for its fried chicken paired with melted cheese sauce and spicy barbecue sauce, available in varying level of spiciness. [5] Richeese Factory offers its fried chicken in three flavor variants: Richicken, Hot & Spicy Chicken, and Fire Chicken. [5] It offers chicken nuggets in four variants: Classic Recipes, Crunchy Bubble Crumb, Gold Series Flying Chicken, and Gold Series Crunchy Bubble Crumb, and Smoke Bratwurst sausages.
