Richlands is a small unincorporated farming community in Greenbrier County, West Virginia, United States, five miles (8 km) west of Lewisburg on U.S. Route 60.
In law, an unincorporated area is a region of land that is not governed by a local municipal corporation; similarly an unincorporated community is a settlement that is not governed by its own local municipal corporation, but rather is administered as part of larger administrative divisions, such as a township, parish, borough, county, city, canton, state, province or country. Occasionally, municipalities dissolve or disincorporate, which may happen if they become fiscally insolvent, and services become the responsibility of a higher administration. Widespread unincorporated communities and areas are a distinguishing feature of the United States and Canada. Greenbrier County is a county in the U.S. state of West Virginia. As of the 2010 census, the population was 35,480. Its county seat is Lewisburg. The county was formed in 1778 from Botetourt and Montgomery counties in Virginia.

Once served by Central School, a two-room schoolhouse housing grades K–9, local children now attend school in Lewisburg. The area has a Ruritan club, The Richland Ruritans, and a 4-H club, The Central Willing Workers.

Three Churches is an unincorporated community in Hampshire County in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The town is located north of Romney along Jersey Mountain Road at a crossroads with Three Churches Hollow Road. Originally known as Jersey Mountain, Three Churches was renamed for the three historic white wooden churches located there: Mount Bethel Church, Mount Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, and Branch Mountain United Methodist Church. Rockville is an unincorporated community in Hanover County in the Central Region of the U.S. state of Virginia. Rockville was named after early 19th century postmaster, William Rock. Prior to the name "Rockville," the community was named "Dentonsville," after postmaster Allen Denton, the descendent of colonial settler Thomas Denton, whose tavern exists today as a private residence. When Allen Denton sold the tavern to William Rock, the name of the community also changed to reflect the new postmaster. The community formerly consisted primarily of farmland. Union Cross is a small unincorporated community in the Dobson Township of central Surry County, North Carolina. The community is roughly centered on the intersection of Dobbins Mill Road and Twin Oaks Road. Prominent landmarks include Union Cross Baptist Church, Union Cross Baptist Church cemetery, the Dockery Family Cemetery, and a local Ruritan club. The land for the Union Cross Ruritan Club was donated to the community for this purpose by Mrs. Minnie Shinault Dockery, widow of T. Alvin Dockery, a prominent local farmer and owner of the local general store. This Community is served by the Jot-Um-Down Volunteer Fire Department, which was founded in 1980. The Current Fire Chief is Ricky Holsclaw.

Belmont is an unincorporated community in Spotsylvania County, in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is marked with a highway sign at the intersection of Belmont Road and Orange Springs Road by the Virginia Department of Transportation, however is marked as being the intersection with Belmont Road and Jones Powell Road by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). The immediate area has Fletcher's Store and the Belmont Christmas Tree farm. Fulks Run is an unincorporated community located in Rockingham County, Virginia, United States. It is located north of Harrisonburg and south of Bergton, just to the west of Broadway on route 259, near the border of West Virginia and the edge of George Washington National Forest.
