Rip Curl Pro 2015

The Rip Curl Pro 2015 was an event of the Association of Surfing Professionals for 2015 ASP World Tour.

Contents

This event was held from 1 to 12 April at Bells Beach, (Victoria, Australia) and contested by 36 surfers.

The tournament was won by Mick Fanning (AUS), who beat Adriano De Souza (BRA) in final. [1]

Courtney Conlogue is an American professional surfer. She was born in Santa Ana, California. Courtney learned to surf at the age of 4. By the time she was 14, she had won a surfing gold medal as a member of the U.S. Team in the X Games. Damien Hardman, known as The Iceman, is a former Australian surfer from Sydney. He won the Rip Curl Pro twice in 1988 and 1993, and was runner-up three times in 1989, 1991 and 1997, and in 1987/88 and 1991 he won the ASP World Tour. In 1999, he was inducted into the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame in 1999.

MEO Rip Curl Pro Portugal formerly known as MEO Pro Portugal, Moche Rip Curl Pro Portugal or Rip Curl Pro Portugal is a professional surfing competition of the WSL World Tour. As of 2022, held every year in March at the Supertubos beach in Peniche, Portugal. The event was first founded in 2010 as Rip Curl Pro Portugal.

Doug Warbrick is an Australian businessman, founder of the Rip Curl brand. and notable figure in the sport of surfing. Warbrick is credited for bringing the longest running surf event in history, the Bells Beach Surf Classic, to the professional surfing circuit. He is a founding member of the ASP World Tour, surf aficionado and athlete mentor.
